Mountainous Estate

Jack busts the front door down, walking in.  "I have the antidote, Crouch! Now where's Sally?!"

'Jack?!'

"Yes..." Jack says, looking broken and angry.  "Now give me Sally!!"  He yells at Crouch.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear..." Crouch muttered.

"Let me see it first Jacky boy! Have to make sure it works before I fulfill my end..."


'Like you're actually going to.' Crest thought from the shadow he attached himself to on the bottle. He didn't expect to see River there, but that was of minimal relevance. Her help or no, he was going to succeed. 

Maybe Raven was here too...

'no! Dont you dare give him anything, Jack!'

"I have to!! He has Sally!"  Tears come to Jack's eyes.

"Yes..."  Raven's voice can be heard as she walks in, dragging a weak Sally by her hair.  "And you won't get her until you hand over that antidote."

Raven was here...
Crest tried to control himself. Sally was top priority. Raven was second. He told himself that over and over again to convince himself. And finally it worked.

"If you wouldn't mind.." Crouch held out his hand expectantly, "Time's not really something I got a lot of!"

my eyes narrow, ferious they would use someone like sally as blackmail.
'You let her go.' I say to raven, pulling the stone out my bag. 'Or i will happyily use this on crouch, and then on you.'

Raven holds a knife to Sally's throat, drawing blood.  "Or I can just kill her faster..." 

"No!!" Jack shouts, throwing the antidote to Crouch.

"Atta boy! Bottoms up!" He goes to drink from it when Crest springs his trap. 

Crest leapt out of the shadow on the bottle and punched Raven in the face, yelling to River, "THE BOTTLE, NOW!" 

'Accio Bottle!' I shout, having pulled out my wand the second crouch caught it

Raven is caught off guard, flinging back and letting go of Sally.  "I should have expected this..."  She retaliates with a hard kick to Crest's groin.

Jack catches Sally, looking into her pale, weak face.  "I'm so sorry, Sally..."  He gets out his other bottle of antidote, giving it to her, relief flooding his face when her face brightens up.

Crest cringes but swallows the pain as he grabbed Raven's foot, "You're done Raven..."

"RIVER GIVE ME THAT VIAL NOW!!!" Crouch ordered viciously as he got to his shaky feet to grab her.

'Im sorry crouch...' I whisper, putting the bottle in my pocket before throwing a spell at him, to push him against the wall

Raven tries yanking her foot free, but she knows Crest is strong.  She gets out her wand and shoots a crucio at him.

Crouch falls to the ground in a piteous wreck, "You... you... traitor..."

This forces Crest to let go of her foot as he lets out a small groan in agony as he tries to fight through the pain.

'This is your fault.' I crouch down beside him, holding the stone against him arm. 'Im saving the world, crouch. And if that means loosing you....well, i already have.'

"I won't deny that you're strong, Strayer...  But you will NEVER get me..."  Raven does her best to keep the crucio on him as she runs over to River to get her off of Crouch, searching for the antidote.

Crouch could feel it... his power it was leaving him. It was like he could feel a snake made of energy slivering out of him from the point of contact on his arm. "River... let's be reasonable here shall we?" Crouch was actually begging. He was close to death and losing his powers. Never before has he been in a lower state, masterless, powerless, and soon lifeless.

Crest fought through the pain to try to run toward Raven to stop her.

Tears start dripping from my face. 'Im sorry...but i have to, crouch. I have to do this. you left me no choice. You could have been reasonable, so many times, but you didnt stop killing, hurting anything. Im sorry.'
I  hold the stone against him more, casting spells behind me at Raven.

Raven dodges, her concentration on the crucio waning.  She jumps on River, pinning her down, clawing her face with one hand while searching for the antidote with the other.  "You'll pay for this, you foolish girl..."

Crest could feel her concentration slipping and ran to tackle Raven off of River. He couldn't bring himself to say he trusted River for certain, but she was his asset for now.

Crouch couldn't have defend himself for helped if he tried, he just stood back hoping against hope Raven would come through for him. She always has, and with any hope by the ned of today that record would go untarnished.

'Get off me.' I gasp, swinging my elbow back at her with one hand, trying to keep the stone on crouch with the other. I start trying to kick out at her as well. 'SOME HELP WOULD BE NICE' I yel.

Raven grabs the antidote out of River's pocket and throws it at Crouch, but is tackled by Crest right after, now focused on getting him off of her.

Crouch grabbed the antidote in the air and starts to drink it down.

Crest tries his best to fight off Raven, "A Bit busy right now!"
