Mountainous Estate

She grins, "That would be quite a feat... But how do we make him believe that?"  Raven tries to think hard about this.  "He does constantly leave Sam to chase after me... He believes he's protecting her that way, when really he's just breaking her already broken mind, and leaving her open for us."

"Hmm that would enrage him, but we need to direct that at our enemies rather than us..."

"Maybe Heather?  Although she's an enemy of everyone..."

"That woman is but a mild diversion to me. No, in order to knock Crest off his self-righteous path, we need to shake his faith in order and law itself. Have them mistreat Sam or him in some way..."

"Who's the enemy of ours we'd want to use?"

"Why not his family itself? Or the Ministry? I believe if we can somehow make that Cayden woman his enemy, she could bring the entire weight of the Ministry against him!"

"That could very well work!  But we need a way to either frame her or make her harm him or Sam in some way."

Crouch thought on it, "We have time. The more his anger festers the more ripe he'll be for the picking." He assured Raven as he waved his wand and a bottle of wine flew to the table. "Perhaps if we manipulated her or her coworkers into holding Sam as a means to controlling him?"

"That would definitely work! He'd do ANYTHING to help his pet, even abandon her to chase another woman..."  Raven smirks maliciously.

Crouch smirked in amusement, "That gives you quite a bit of pride doesn't it?" He inquired as he filled a glass with the vintage.

"Well hey, it's not like you can just easily seduce a Strayer to darkness!" She chuckles.

"That is true. I certainly never managed it." Crouch laughed as he gulped down the wine.

"It almost makes me wonder what your true interest is in turning him to our side. Throughout your entire time with us, you've only had eyes for him if you pardon my joke..." He looked over at her as he poured another glass, with eyes seeking buried secrets.

"I won't pretend I don't know a thing or two about obsession. But please, indulge my curiosity..."

When she understands what Crouch is implying, she chokes on the wine that she was starting to drink.  After clearing her throat out, she speaks, "Well, I suppose he's been the only real challenge... A constant pain in my ass!  It would just be easier and better for us all if he joins us..."

This relaxes Crouch's worries, "Yes, it would be useful to have his skills working for us than against. Please excuse my..." He tried to find the right wording, "Accusations. It just struck me as unorthodox."

"It's alright..."  She takes another sip of wine.

"So then, what will you do now?"
