He waves a dismissive hand. "Oh, Joachim means nothing to me. I have plenty of other people who would happily become my second-in-command."

I chuckle as though I know something and start walking away, swinging my cane in a showsmen-like manner.

What are you planning?

Another fall, dear, obviously. Now, as promised... control is yours.

Jim's smirk melts away. The man blinks a couple of times, and soon the rabbit-in-the-headlights look is back in his eyes, as well as the shy attitude Richard has.

Well, classes are wrappin' up for the Holidays and I couldn't be happier. Life was goin' smoothly. I don't have to go back to the streets, could just chill out with the whole Ravenclaw commonroom to myself. Hell, I might even get to sit in the good chair every once in a while.

Kurdt Logan sighed as he entered the Great Hall of his new school. He sighed as he tried to keep his thoughts and emotions in control.

I look I've and see a new face, best go introduce myself,

"Heya!"

Kurdt Logan was unable to evade the glances of fellow students.

"Hi" he replied reluctantly.

Kurdt Logan's expression saddened as he realised that his heterochromic eyes must've scared the other student away.

I limp into the Hall, somewhat more comfortable after Lukas helped my leg. I'm still not able to walk normally again, though. I pause for a moment to rest, leaning on the walking stick.

I look at him completely unfazed by his eyes, "names Topher, or Top if you like. You?"

"Watch out" Logan thought, "He could be a filthy mudblood."

Kurdt ignored their thoughts. "Hi Top. Nice to meet you. My name's Kurdt Logan."

I hold out my hand, "Cool name, ya new here?"

Deciding to intrude a bit, I make my slow way over to them. "Hey guys."

"Who is it this annoying whelp?" Logan continued his cynical thoughts.

Kurdt, still ignoring their thoughts, just gave a slight smile and a simple nod.

IC: I tilt my head to the side and raise an eyebrow. I hold out my hand. "Pixie Flame. And you are...?"

"Hey pix, got a new guy here." I gesture to him, "mind if I call ya Kurd for short?"

"Please, do call me Kurdt. I do prefer that I keep my identity as it was intended; I don't enjoy nicknames, they take away from my already small personality." Kurdt seemed slightly aggravated.

'Well well well.. new meat and nobody bothered to tell me?' Lukas strolled inside, making sweeping gestures with his arms like he owned the damn place.

'Kurdt, that's an interesting name.' his own honey coloured eyes squinted for a moment.

"[Great. Come, join the party; enjoy yourself, have a cupcake. Damn these Hogwarts guys are annoyingly persistant. Why did we have to come here?]"

Kurdt noticed Lukas staring with fascination, or possibly ignorance, at his eyes. "It's, uh, just a name as far as I know. Never did really care much for meanings."

"[Wow. Smooth.]"

"[Oh shit, he's on to me(.) If you couldn't tell, that was sarcasm.]"

Kurdt's eyes widened. He didn't expect these people to be so curious. "I was actually forced to come here by my step-mother. She was strangely delighted to find that I was a wizard. She thought me going to Hogwarts was a great way for her and my dad to have some alone time. But we know what that really means..."
