Lewis revealed a sugary sour sweet from his satchel.

"Not part of my usual diet."

'Vegetarians can still eat meat even though it's not part of their usual diet' he pointed out, slightly confused.

Lewis was confused at what Lukas was telling him.

"You do realise I was trying to tell a joke, right?" His tone made it hard to determine whether he was serious or not.

ooc and ic 'it was so awful i didn't recognise it.' he said plainly, bluntly. Lukas was even a person of good humour too...

Lewis shrugged.

"I'm not really a joke person."

He took a bite of the sweet he held in his hand.

"But I will definitely consider carrying garlic around. Maybe even eating it too."

'Tips to stay alive come free from me y'know. As for werewolves, strong smells really piss them off. Crouch is a hybrid, so just carrying garlic would be enough to irritate him, maybe to the point of him leaving you alone.'

Lukas didn't know why he was giving this advice, but then again... it wasn't harming him was it?

"A hybrid?" Lewis' ears perked up at the mention of this word.

'....who will also rip your throat out if you ever cross him or treat him like an animal.' he finished, knowing the train of thought Lewis was following.

"I realise the dangers associated with a creature like him; the risk isn't worth the reward. But still..."

Lewis wished he could get the chance to just observe this Crouch, but he knew he could never get close enough to someone so powerful.

'Besides, he isn't lurking around Hogwarts at the moment, his side lost the recent war.' he said plainly again, stating fact.

"Are there a lot of wars here?"

'Not particularly, but when there are, lots of people get involved and killed.'

"I best be prepared then."

'And i can always try and help you with that. good day.' the boy jumped to his feet, straightened himself off before swaggering out of the hall again. his boredom had been stated.

Fidgeting what appeared to be a tuning fork, my concentration is completely deep into it.

'Artisan..?' the boy paced up to him, watching curiously with a level gaze.

ooc changed my mind

I look up and nearly jump out of my seat, "Oh hey Bryn! Good to see you above the ground!"

'It's nice to be above the ground.' he chuckled, sliding into the seat beside him. 'What are you doing?'

"Oh just making my next masterpiece, how have you been?"

'Stressed.' he spoke simply. 'As soon as you're alive it seems the world wants to dump shit on your shoulders but..' Bryn shrugged, smiling again. 'Mind if i watch you? I'm interested.'

"Of course! I prefer to be watched when I work! Maybe others can learn something!"

I continue to work, but keep speaking to him, "So hey..."

his smile widened for a second with rememberance. i forgot he has the ego the size of a hot air balloon..
'What exactly are you doing?' he wanted to ask, but waited for a moment.

"I really gotta apologize to you..."

He took a moment to think of a response, blinking. 'What on earth for? unless you harvested my organs whilst i was buried, there's no need to be sorry.' it was his attempt at being light-hearted.
