He chuckles softly, then leans forward to press a brief kiss to her lips. "There."

'That's better.' she kissed his forehead instead, trying to stir a reaction from him. 'So what were you doing here in the first place? surely you don't need to study..'

"I was bored," he admits. "I was just looking for something to do. Maybe some research of some kind..."
