"Need a hand?"

OOC Wow, Crouch leaving DOES a lot of good...

"Oh, no, it's ok, I should be alright," he says hurriedly. "Unless you can tell me anything books can't about werewolves? I have an essay to do on them due tomorrow." He smiles sheepishly.

"My knowledge on that subject is fairly limited."

Normally I'd talk about how my half sister is one, but I'm a bit wiser now.

He looks disappointed. "That's a shame. It would've been nice to impress the teacher..." Jim tilts his head to the side, a small part of Moriarty creeping into the action by accident. "Oh well."

"Well you should be able to find all you need here." I gesture around the library.

In truth, Jim already has a fairly good amount of knowledge on most useful topics. He can tell, for example, by the clawmarks in this forest floor, that there have been several fights between the creatures over the past few months.

Which means there is more than one. This makes his plan perfect.

He nods, glancing around at the shelves. "Yeah, I suppose so."

"I'm actually surprised I haven't seen you around before, are you new here?"

His gaze snaps back to Artemis, then softens when he forces his act back on himself. "Yeah, I've only been here about a week... It's a fascinating place, isn't it?"

"I think so..."

Jim's glad that the conversation has moved on; he was beginning to feel his act slipping. This man won't give him informaiton, therefore he is useless, in Jim's eyes.

"How long have you been here?"

"Quite some time, I guess. I'm not as recent as some others but I know enough."

Jim puts on a sort of frightened look. "I've heard rumours about some p-people here..."

It sickens him to act this way, but he deems it necessary.

"You won't have to worry about them soon."

Good. No competition. Shame I couldn't use them as puppets, though.

"Oh? Really?"

"Yes, soon enough we'll be free of the evil-doers."

He struggles to contain a laugh; he bites his tongue for a moment as he decides how to reply. "That's good news."

That reply was odd. Almost hesitant.

"Yeeah, should be a good time. Well I have to go, nice meeting you." I pick up my books and walk out

As Artemis leaves, Moriarty falls back over his actions immediately. It's almost a relief to have that back in place. Jim blinks and smiles widely at Artemis's back. "And you too, dear," he says quietly. "Such interesting things you told me without realising."

After a while, Jim takes out a book on werewolves and leaves.

OOC: Me too, see you!

-sniffles- fine, both of you leave as soon as i get online.

-He walked into the Library and looked around for Gobs.-

- She was scanning the shelves when she spotted Cosmo. With a small frown she didn't approach him, if he actually wanted to speak to her he could come over to her. -

-He noticed the frown on Goblets face as he approched her.- Hello, Miss Dream. -He smiled and kissed her softly-

- She ducked away slightly and kept scanning the shelves, dragging her index finger along the dusty spines of books whilst muttering under her breath - "Finally decided to talk to me then."

-He raised his eyebrows- I..er..what?! What are you talking about?

- She turned to him with a frown - "The fact I haven't seen you in weeks?" - Her feet scuff along the ground as she moves away from him again, rolling her eyes - "Don't put on the 'innocent Hufflepuff act, Cosmo."
