"Yes, I think that would be beneficial for both of us." Still smiling gently, he turns back to the front so he doesn't get a crick in his neck.

She was about to finish, stepping forward and kissing his neck with a small chuckle. 'Of course... how are you feeling now?'

He sighs contentedly. "Much better, thank you, love."

Her arms wrapped around his waist, resting her chin on his shoulder, still stood behind him. 'How about now..?' Ace was watching with a curious smile.

Chase places his hands on hers and tilts his head to the side to rest it against Ace's. "Even better."

She grinned back sweetly at him, enjoying the pure weirdness of their position. 'good, my plan is working.' she feigned an evil chuckle as she brought her face closer to his.

He laughs softly. "Goodness me, I won't have to arrest you because of this plan, will I?" he teases.

'Unless it's illegal to love someone, then no.' she closed the distance briefly, seeming more content in that moment than she had in weeks.

"Last time I checked, it isn't." He smiles openly again, the Chase-side finally settling back into place.

'So I won't be rotting in Azkaban anytime soon, yay.' she beamed, eventually relaxing herself at seeing joy cross his expression again.

'Although i don't think the dementors would do much to me, i'm insane already. I guess that's the only perk i get from being crazy.'

Her expression wavered at the statement. 'Doesn't make it any less true... i always have been insane Chase, i'm tormented by my own mind.'

"You've never seemed like it to me," he says honestly. "I'm here for you, Ace. Your happiness and safety are my priorities."

'Then you didn't realise what you're in for.. I get worked up, distressed. I can't control the panic and fear i feel. It makes me want to give into recklessness.'

'Query was providing me with calming potions.' she admitted quietly, waiting for his inevitable reaction.

He doesn't even bat an eyelid. "Did they help?"

'Y-Yeah, they've been keeping me afloat.' she was surprised he hadn't reacted.

"At least he's useful for something." Chase reaches up to place his hand on her cheek, lightly brushing his fingers over it comfortingly.

'I tried testing it to figure out how he made it, but i don't know what he uses..' she exhaled, feeling useless for a moment. 'They keep me rational, i feel odd for depending on him.'

"I wish it could be anyone else supplying you with the potions... but I can't deny that he has his uses," Chase admits grudgingly.

'I'm just afraid for the day when he'll ask me for something in return for the potions, i know he will..' she chewed on her bottom lip, distress flashing in her light grey eyes.
