"Do yourself one favor when you partake in this training routine."

"Don't lose yourself." Like I did.

He looked over at Crest. There was something about him that Teddy liked. "I'll try. I'm not just doing this for myself. I've two people that I love that I'm doing this for."

Then your goal for doing this is more noble than mine was.

"After this I'll teach you about effective wizard dueling."

He nearly sighed in relief but he was too busy struggling to keep the bag on his shoulders. "Oh good. Something new."

"After you reach the other side, you'll have finished all the easy parts."

He bit his lip and struggled on. "How long do you suppose it'll be before I'm as good as you?"

"With continual practice, years."

"Okay." He shifted the bag again on his shoulder, his arms and legs were aching from carrying the heavy weight for so long. You're doing this for Bryn, you're doing this for Bryn.

At the thought of his boyfriend he realised just how much he missed him. They only had about 24 hours or so to catch up and then Teddy found himself here. "Do you have a girlfriend?" he asked Crest, suddenly.

MY eyes open from a mediative position and look at Teddy as if imploring him why he was asking.

"I was just thinking about my boyfriend and how much I missed him. It made me wonder if you had a girlfriend."

"Yes."

So Crest does have a heart. He smiled. "That's nice."

Not wanting to elaborate out of general trust issues, I pull out my wand, "are you ready for the next step?"

He looked around. "What? You want me to fight with this bag on my shoulder?"

"You can drop it. I think this takes precedent."

"Oh thank god." He dropped the heavy bag, his muscles were crying in relief. He pulled out his wand. "Okay. Ready."

"I've seen the way you fight. In al honesty, it is a cowards fight. You fight out of fear and it reflects in your spells."

He looked down. "Well how can I fix it?"

"You have to fight with confidence. Firstly, tell me some spells you already know."

"Um, I know some simple spells. Disarming, stunning. Simple stuff." He shrugged. "That's not going to do is it?"

"The basics have use but you need variety."

"Okay. Teach me what you know."
