He stared at her, not quiet comprehending the words that just came out of her mouth. "Marry you? As in the act of trading vows and then being forever bound together in the most intimate way?"

I blink. 'apparently thats not a yes.' I stand up, turning away from him, hiding the hurt in my eyes. 'yes, death. that kind of marrying me.'

IC He stood up rapidly and grabbed her arm, turning her to face him. He planted a kiss upon her lips. "That wasn't a no. I just didn't expect it is all." He placed another, softer, kiss on her lips. "Yes. I will."

I smile, wrapping my arms round his neck and hugging him, my head buried in his shoulder. 'Thank you.'
