The girl inhaled sharply. 'Ooh, breakup, awkward..' she shook her head. 'I heard of someone else round here getting a divorce too, maybe everyone is too young for this stuff...?'

She sighed a little "they have no idea what they're getting into"

i think it depends on how mature people are, not their age. If you don't understand the significance of marriage you probably shouldn't be doing it.

'But that's what love's like, isn't it? It encompasses you and it drives people crazy sometimes.' she offered a light smile. 'That's what people tell me anyway.'

ooc I definitely agree .. my oldest brother has been married twice about six years apart and neither lasted a year.. he's just not emotionally a marriage guy I think.


IC She shook her head "Love is pain.. it's the most true thing you'll ever hear. It's a constant struggle and yet it's enthralling and captivating. You can be swept off your feet or it can come from no where in well fell swoop crushing you with all it's enormity. IC She didn't like to see Donia saddened "when you feel it it'll be worth it.. just don't let go. It leave you all cynical for a while like me."

'I thought i'd hurt more to cling to something potentially poisonous than to let the wound heal over..' she mumbled, considering.

"it sounds logical that way.. but sometimes the wounds just don't heal.. or they get ripped open again."

She smiled a bit "I like the way you think... though if you figure out a way to leech the posion out remember to let me know."

'so who is it that poisoned you? They still around?' she asked curiously.

"yes.. and at the same time a resounding no... I thought he was dead.. turns out he wasn't.. needless to say I'm sure he's going to exact his revenge at any time.."

Her eyes seemed to grow. 'What did you do to piss him off?'

She sighed a little "tried to kill him..." she knew it sounded as bad as it really was.

She seemed impartial for now. 'May i ask why?'

Her eyes glowed for a moment as she touched the girls arm lightly allowing her to see time slowing "so I could have this ability."

Donia almost flinched, completely taken aback. 'How is that even possible?' Her curiosity was overwhelming, Donia had always been inquisitive.

She pulled her hand away eyes returning to normal "honestly I don't know how it started, but I know I had to stab the one who had the eyes and the power transferred to me."

'So he wants your power back?' Donia clarified calmly. This could be useful..

ic Meredia sat with her head against the tower walls, feeling the vibrations of the clock shoot down her body and make her arms tingle. Humming a soft tune to herself, she tried to alleviate her own boredom.

"Hey Mer," he called as he approached the girl.

'Hey Teddy!' a genuine smile stretched from ear to ear as she recognised his voice instantly. the girl seemed calm today.

He smiled and sat down next to her. "How've you been? We haven't talked in a while."

'Better since Bryn came back.' it was all she could say. Since Tide had died, she hadn't been the most social person. Or rather, people had still been skirting around her whenever she tried to talk to anyone.

'How about you?'

She missed Tide, that much was clear. "Iffy since Bryn came back. I love that he's back, but things aren't the same. He's not the same."
