"Joachim, fetch him. And be quick about it. The quicker you are, the more you get~" he calls in a sing-song voice.

Jim hides his utter joy. If Query wants Eagle present, then that must mean that he's going to do it. That, or find some way to twist it in his favour, but Jim won't let him do that.

I run down to find Eagle.

OOC Should I presume I find him or RP it?

OOC: Just find him, much easier

IC: Jim smiles widely. "Does this mean you're going to do it, dear Query?"

I bring up Eagle and push him forward, "Got him boss."

Jim smiles. "Thank you, dear."

Chase frowns, glancing between the two of them and taking note of the situation. "What's going on? Query?"

"Isn't it obvious? Let me spell it out, unless I jump, Jim here is going to harm Ace."

Chase's stare becomes cold as he turns it on Jim. "Is he telling the truth?"

Jim smiles angelically. "Obviously, or I wouldn't be trapped, would I?"

"But- You didn't-"

"Too late, Eagle-boy! The wheels are in motion!"

screw it, i can't let this carry on.

'Nobody is going to harm me, you're all a bunch of fucking imbeciles.' she burst into the tower, wand in hand, gripping a pouch in the other. Ace's expression was simply furious; she was frustrated from the amount of crap she was receiving lately.

I retract the blade around Jim's neck and run up to her, and pull her into a hug, "Acy..."

Chase goes to join them, a look of grim determination on his face. He'll unite with Query just this once.

Jim rubs his neck. Well, hereLs an opportunity. "Who loves Ace more?"

'Please.. just be quiet Jim.' She wrapped her arms around both of them, hiding her small trembles as she accepted their hugs. Ace Couldnt help it; she adored both of them. She adjusted her black bowler cap awkwardly.

I just glare over at Eagle, infuriating the man so much as laid a hand on my Acy.

"No," Jim says calmly. "Where were we, Query? Oh, yes... There's still the matter of proving to Eagle that you're the better man, that you love Ace more... It would be so easy... And Eagle would be hurting so much..."

Chase ignores Query's look completely, not even sparing a patronising glance. He just watches Jim silently.

'The only one you'd hurt through this process is me Query.' she spoke quietly, but with sincerity. 'You don't need to prove you love me, i know you do, i always have.' Even through her confusion Ace was being reasonable, wrapping her arms tighter around Query.

"Ah, but is he better than Eagle, here?" Jim purrs, glancing between them with a smile on his lips.

"Be silent, Jimmy, Acy's words hold more water than yours."

'Thank you, for listening to me...' she whispered, going slightly limp with her relif and ignoring Jim's question. 'I love them both.' Ace couldn't answer who she loved more, she simply wanted them both safe.

"I'm not talking to you, Ace." Jim simply glances at her before fixing his gaze on Query.

"Prove you're the better man, Query."

If he doesn't do it, there's always Plan B.

"very well... I'll prove I'm the better man Jimmy..." I turn toward him and ready my cane blade, "Here's an easy one, what question can you never answer 'yes' to?"

Jim sighs and tilts his head to the side. He completely ignores the question. "You're boring me, Query. I don't like people who bore me."

He clicks his fingers. Suzume wipes away her fake tears and pulls her bow from her back, loads an arrow and points it at Ace.

Chase narrows his eyes and moves to block the shot, but that is exactly what Jim planned for. The arrow doesn't contain a killer spell, but a restraining one, and Suzume doesn't hesitate; when it hits Chase, he is frozen by it.

Suzume loads another arrow - this time a killing curse - and aims it at Ace.

Jim shrugs, appearing as if this is all an inconvenience. "I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this, Query."

I look at Eagle apathetically, but move to go in front of Ace, "Such as?"

Suzume moves as well, making sure she always has a clear shot at Ace.

"Oh no, Acey, it's me who's picking the rules here," Jim cuts in. "Now, Query, you have two options." There's a devilish smile on Jim's lips and he actually giggles before he continues.

"One: jump and I will let them both go. I won't harm either of them. Two: I can cause Eagle the most pain possible, but it will involve losing your precious Ace. Who will it be that takes the fall? You or Ace?"
