Rin Okumura vs Kaneki Ken

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE OUR CONTESTANTS!!!!




In one corner, you have the one and only, yes, the son of Satan himself, RIN OKUMURA!


And in the other corner, we have the ghoul that mystifies all...the one-eyed, KANEKI KEN!

Kaneki stepped bare-footed into the arena. He took a brief look around and adjusted the mask that was covering three quarters of his face, save for his left eye.

He wasn't scared or excited. He was just numb. That's all he had been since Jason had tortured him. He would use his numbness to his advantage though.

His stomach rumbled and he smiled behind his mask. He didn't have to see it to know that his left eye had turned red...

Rin couldn't believe this. One moment he's in True Cross academy and now he's here fighting off a whole new bunch. Were they demons as well?

He could certainly believe the one in front of him was. He tried to remember his classes, as he had no wish to rely solely on his demonic powers to win. With any luck he could win without going feral.

Keeping Kurikara sheathed for now, he got ready for the fight, "Come on! Bring it you freak!"

OOC Forgive me for any poor performances or dialogue. It's been a while since I've seen the show.

Kaneki allowed his kagune to slowly emerge from the small of his back. The tentaclesque arms moved to frame his body, two on each side of him, poised ready to fight.

His stomach growled louder. He could feel his mouth water at the smell of the delicious person across from him.

Rin jumped toward him with the sword remaining sealed as he tried to bring the sheath down on his head.

His kagune moved to block the blow. he jumped back and slid across the ground.

Within a second, he was charging toward Rin, his kagune ready for an attack.

When he got close enough, his kagune strikes, lashing forward toward Rin.

Rin leapt back to try to avoid them but ultimately he knew what his best move was.

He drew Kurikara and yelled out as his body was consumed by blue flames. His eyes glew a bright azure, and his teeth became fangs as his ears lengthened. He swiped at the kagune to try and cut them to pieces.

The four arms moved in sync with each other, twisting and turning and avoiding every strike the demon had to dish out.

Once he got close enough, his kagune slid back into his body and he rushed toward Rin. The zipper over his mouth was opened. He was looking for a meal now!

"GAHH!!!" He swiped the sword downward sending a wave of blue fire towards the monstrosity. He wasn't like any demon he had faced before. What were those things he used to attack him with! And what was with this guy?!

Kaneki flew back with a startled gasp as a wave of blue flames hit him. His kagune flew out again and broke his fall.

He cursed at the demon and got back on his feet, poised for another attack.

Rin however wouldn't let him catch any breath as he ran toward him again right for another strike

The heat of the flames was intense from far away and when the odd blow hit, it hurt like hell.

Kaneki wasn't used to getting hurt by anything other than....

Wait.

Was his opponent a ghoul as well? Where was his kagune? Why was he on fire?

A moment of distraction was brought about by his sudden thoughts.

Rin brought down the blade upon Kaneki, his blue flames exploding upon impact!

The flames consumed him and he cried out in agony. His kagune tried desperately to protect his body from the danger, but the damage was already done.

The demon child jumped back away from the flames, watching to see his foe. Had he won?

Coughing up blood, he winced at the stench of his kagune burning. The arm-like tentacles detached from his body and fell to the ground beside him. He tentatively reached behind him to see if they were really gone.

When he touched the small of his back and felt no evidence of his kagune, he gasped. He tried to will them back into formation but to no avail.

He was defenseless.

Rin had his opening and he took it, "GO BACK TO HELL!" He thrusted his sword straight for Kaneki's chest, waiting for him to ignite in blue flames.

The sword drove through his chest and straight into his heart.

He coughed one last time, blood and saliva dribbling down his chin. "What...?" he whispered and then his body went limp as he let out his last breath.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have our winner! Rin Okumura!
