Joachim's Inn

'No problm here.' The man leered. 'Not one. Just getting to know the little girly here.'
Lucy moved so she was behind joachim, sheilding herself from the guest.

"Well looks like she don't want to know you, try your hand elsewhere buddy.." He tried to keep things calm but made it clear he wasn't handing the girl to her.

'She was perfecly fine. You just came in and ruined everything.' the man clenched his fists. 'So why dont you just go away and leave us too it?'

"Yeah? And if I don't?" He looked over to his concierges, a bulking man named Sawyer who walked over to his side.

'Sir..' Lucy said, touching Joachims arm. 'Please....leave it. i dont want anything to start because of me. Its...its happened before anyway.'

"Hush Lucy, just go with Sawyer here to the lounge... I'll handle this.."

She bit her lip, looking worried, but nodded, walkingaway

Sawyer followed Lucy into the lounge, feeling a swell of respect for Joachim for truly caring about them.

"So now buddy, night is young, try your hand with the other dames here! Just lay off my girls, got it?" Joachim smirked at the guy to try and keep things from becoming a fight. But even if it did, Joachim was no slouch at street fighting.

'what if its your girls i want?'

"Then we might have a bit of a problem.."

'its a free county, man. If i want them, i can have them.'

"Well if you want Lucy, you're gonna have to go through me, and buddy, I used to work for Chezhekov, wizard crime lord, you don't want to go through that..." He couldn't believe he was actually using that mans name to try and intimidate someone.

the man scowls. 'If you dont want people wanting your girls...you should make sure people wont want them.' with that, he pushed past joachim and walked out of the inn

"Hmph, pussy..." 

He turned to his other guest who watched the whole thing, "Drinks all around!" He announces which makes everyone cheer and the festivities to return to normal as Joachim made his way into the lounge to check on his employees.

"Everyone good in here? You can come out, he's gone."

Lucy smiled at him as she walked past. 'Thank you. but...there are always more of them.'

"Don't worry, I'll be out here a lot more.." He promised with a smile which made sawyer nod to him in agreement. "Also feel free to talk to sawyer here, no one is gonna fuck around with him..." 

Joachim didn't want to admit it, but doing the right thing... It felt kinda good. Like his soul had filled with helium and was lifting him up.

she nodded and waked back out the the bar, a grin on her face.

Joachim sat himself face a window, opening it and lighting up his pipe as he kept an eye on things.

'understand now?' krystal said, leaning against the wall next to him.

"What the hell are you talking about? Pervs are bad for business..." He defended as his selfish reason.

'and now the truth?'

"That IS the truth, the hero thing ain't my thing.."

'it may not be, but you have just proved thats why you did it.'

"Don't you got a cookie sale that needs tending to?" He gave as his retort.

she grinned. 'No. You properly are all of the ones i was planning to give away.'
