Joachim's Inn

(About time I got around to this.)

The Inn purchased by Joachim using money he got from wrongful imprisonment. At first it started as a shack that was so hazardous it should've been condemned. But through the efforts of himself, Krystal and his uncle they turned the place into a very home-like in. The wall paper was a vegas style red and matching carpet.

There were tables where roaming wizards could gamble away their spare change. The staff had fun close to every day and unquestioningly loyal to their boss, whom paid and treated them very fairly, and even let them pocket some extra cash if they got tipped.

One day, Joachim brought all his staff together, "Okay folks, we got a serious problem..."

'Whats up?' Krystal was sat onthe edge of a table, her eyes narrowed at his serious tone.

"Well, our people have never been higher and yet we're steadily losing money..."

"Which means some little shit is pliferring!"

She frowned. 'Do you want me to check anything out?' shaking her head, she started scanning the faces around them. 'I dont get it. They are all loyal. And i thought they were trustworthy.'

"Fuck yeah! Someone here is screwing me over!!" Joachim was livid by his lost funds.

'Breathe.' She jumped down and tapped him on the cheek. 'Ill deal with this. i want to know accounts and stuff from when you opened the pace up. We need to see when it started.'

"Yeah so.. most of the dough I've been keeping in this here safe..." He gestures to it.

ooc my mother just broke my internet cable.
I swear, if i ever have children, i will not deny them the amazing thing called wifi.

'Ok...so who knows how to get into it?'

"Far as I was aware, only me. I change the combo daily..."

'then wh is smrt enough.....or knows how to get it? There cant be that many people here...'

"Well I don't know, I mean it's a safe, any idiot knows how to work that!"

'Im trying to help, chimmy. You dont need to snap at me.'

He took a deep breath and light up his pipe, sitting down in his favorite arm chair, "Sorry. Just... finally have a good thing goin' here and don't want anyone to fuck it up."

'no one will. I sort it out. Promise.'

"Hey you detectives are pretty handy when it's not my ass on the line..." Joachim joked.

She snorts. 'I knew i was only your friend because of my skills.'

"The eye candy helps your chances too..." He winked jokingly.

She rolls her eyes. 'One day, joachim...you are really going to regret trying to annoy me. I'm going to...people watch. If you can keep your mouth shut, you can come with me.'

"Nah, I got to look over some things... just let me know what you find!" 

OOC Gives me an excuse to play the staff

'Yes boss.' SHe grins as she walks out before pausing. There were a few places she could go, but the best would be the bar. loudness always meant people would think no one could hear them talking....and there would be more people to see.

Stacey was cleaning glasses, and waved to Krystal friendly, "Hey!"

Kry walks over, smiling. 'Hey. Hows the bar doing today?'

"Oh you know, pretty good, but for some reason..." The blonde looked a bit puzzled, "Guys have been real clumsy lately, keep dropping things around me and telling me to pick them up.. damnest thing.."

She bit her lips to stop herself smiling. 'Tell them to pick things up themselves. or go and talk to Joachim about it. hell understand what is.'
