The Nuel Household

He leaned back against a table and resisted the urge to fiddle around with the items on it.

It takes Jack many hours, but he eventually holds up a vial with the finished product. "We just need to get him to drink this, and he'll be sane... I can't say for how long, though."

OOC *sing song voice* Crouch is going to kill both of you...

OOC No, Crouch likes Death too much to kill him. At least, that's what I'm betting on.

IC He smiled. "Make some more. I'll keep extras on hand until I have a reliable time-frame."

Jack grins. "Very well..." That gives me time for my experiment as well... It's about time someone tries to tame that monster.

"What got you into the scientific...." he searched for the right word, "business? Magic and science don't mix well."

"Oh, I've been into science ever since I was little... Unfortunately, in my town growing up, I was hated for it. I did learn a little magic, but found only apparating useful.

He made a small disgusted sound in the back of his throat. "That's unfortunate,  friend. You seem to have some talent when it comes to science."

"Well, when you have telekinesis, magic isn't really needed..." Jack looks at Death from the corner of his eye, curious as to what he thinks about this information.

He raised his eyebrow. "An experiment?"

"Actually, I developed it when I was sixteen. I don't know how, but it has been a real blessing."

"Consider yourself lucky then. Any additional help people can get is sure to be used in the times to come."

"It helped me nearly kill Crouch in the past... But my wife stopped me."

Sam helps Charity inside, sitting her down on the couch.  "Mom?"  

Sally walks in, a bright smile on her face, "Hello, Dear! What brings-?"  Then she sees Charity, concern taking over.  "Oh my..." Sally feels Charity's forehead. "What happened?"


"Raven gave her the Cruciatus curse..."

"I don't think there's any too serious damage. But even so, we figured you'd be best to look her over..." Artemis explained. "anyway I can help?"

Charity was still mute, keeping her attention on the conversation. The previous events haunted her brain.

"No..." Sally says, then smiles at him, "Thank you, though."

He nodded in understanding, "Alright, I'll stick around to make sure she's well if you don't mind..."

"Of course not!"  Sally says to Artemis, then looks at Charity.  "Is there a spot it hurts most, Dear?"

"No..." Charity voiced.

"Alright, then..."  Sally places a hand right over Charity's heart, and her hand starts to glow.  From there, the pain should eventually fade away.  "Better?"

Charity was amazed by Sally's ability. Her eyes widened a bit. "Yes, I feel much better!"

Sally smiles happily, "Oh good!" Sally stands, "Now, are you hungry? Thirsty? Tired? You're welcome to stay here as long as you like!"

"If I could just have a glass of water, I'd be fine." Charity felt her throat as she asked.

Artemis went over to the sink and filled up a glass, handing it to her gently. His smile radiated pure benevolence and light, "Here you are. Sorry we never got the chance to get properly introduced."
