Casimir Castle

Jack's body obey's Casimir's command, strangling himself with his mind, killing the body so Jack's soul cannot return.

Crest gives directives to Artemis, knowing how best to resolve this, "Artemis, go after Casimir!"

Artemis nods in agreement and frantically gives chase to the villain while Crest ran to try and strike him just the right way to knock him out.

Since Jack's body was busy choking himself, he did not stop Crest from knocking him unconscious.  

Right after that, Sam runs up to Crest and squeezes him.

Crest held onto Sam, holding her tightly, "I'm sorry..."

Artemis's chase soon ended as he using his recently mastered Shadow puppetry spell. He held his wand sideways and beams of light snake into the surrounding shadows. The shadows become solid beast and give chase to the alchemist before one of them in the form of a wolf springs toward him and transforms into a dark spiderweb that entraps the dastardly man. Resisting though he tried, he could not break the shadowy bonds.

Sally runs over to where Casimir is, trying to find Jack's soul on him.

His soul was located in his jacket pocket, "Sally, please don't do this! I'm better than Jack ever was! Ever!"

Sally looks at Casimir with a truly hurt look in her eyes.  "No, Casimir.  After what you just did.... You just proved that you're below him.  Insane Jack may be, but he always stood up to protect me and our family.  You nearly took my family away from me, Casimir."  She takes Jack's soul out of his pocket.

"But he stole my family from me too! Ask him the fate of my daughter's soul! He'll be one to talk about ripping family apart!!"

"You tried getting your daughter back by ripping one of mine away from me."

"I had to!!! She was a perfect match!"

"But you almost killed mine!  If you truly loved me, Casimir, you wouldn't have even tried that!"

Casimir opened his mouth for a retort...

But none came. She was right.

Sally takes Jack's soul back to his body, kissing him as he wakes.

"Sorry for knocking him unconscious..."  Crest sincerely apologized.

Sally smiles at him, "It's quite alright.  You saved his life, Crest.  Thank you."  She hugs him.

"Welcome..." He hugged her back.

Artemis smiled, he'd never seen Crest so...at ease with anyone. The Nuels truly did as many wonders for him as he for them.

Sam smiles at each of them.  She looks to Artemis, "Thank you, Artemis, for helping us."

"No problem.." Artemis smiled in return to her, "Here, I'll take him off to Azkaban... get him out of your problems..."

"Thank you..."

"With Casimir and Helm gone, life can finally return to normalcy... or at least status quo.." Crest tried to joke but his face was far too deadpan to realize the humor.

Sam smiles, hugging him tightly, "That's finally over..."

"Let's all go home.."

They all nod in agreement.

Crouch was out in the old wizard's castle, looking around at all the man named Casimir had possessed. "Well he sure isn't using it anymore, think that entitles me to first dibs, don't you think?" He asked one of the statues in the hallway.

Crouch then looked at it appalled, "Follow conventional inheritance laws? Bite your tongue..." He started to walk through the hallways to see if he could find anything useful. 

Old coots like him always have nice toys...
