"True true... I'll invite him along..." The two of us together would make us absolutely no match for this Teddy and whoever he's with!

"So, here's how it's going to work. I will find the spell book and set up the date, time, and place. You guys will perform the spell and then once I have what I need you can do whatever the hell you want with him." He knew that he was repeating himself but he wanted to make it crystal clear.

"Oh certainly..." Crouch's smile never wavered as his mocking poured from his mouth, "You're in charge of this my friend..."

"Good. You can leave now if you want to. I'm done with my proposition."

Crouch stepped closer to the bed with a malicious smirk and pointed his wand straight at Teddy's throat, "Let me clarify one thing for you... okay?"

"I'm helping you out, but you'd be as crazy as me to think you could order me around. I'm helping you out of the kindness of my own heart, how about a little appreciation before I leave?"

He flinched at the touch of the wand to his throat a brief flash of intimidation rushed through him. He swallowed the lump in his throat and spoke. "Crouch, we both know that there is no good in your heart at all. You're helping me because you can see where you will benefit from helping me."

"Oh come now, I'm a fun guy once you get to know me and lose the disease called a conscience..." He laughed wildly at his own joke.

"Yes, because it is amusing to act like a crazed baffoon."

Crouch chuckled a couple times before pressing his wand harder onto his throat, "Really want to test me right now don't you?"

"Crouch, you have done many terrible things to me, but you won't kill me," he said with confidence.

"And just why not?"

"You like me. Maybe as a plaything that you can mess around with when you're bored? Maybe because I challenge you on a more intellectual level? Maybe now that Bryn's gone and no one else shows you that they're not afraid except for me I've taken his place." He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, but you do."

"Ahh Bryn... I remember him.. and how he dropped like a rock! Do you remember it? I often think on it before I go to sleep. I find it most soothing..."

He fought the urge to punch Crouch in the face as he talked about his ex-boyfriend like that. "Talking about him like that just proves that you are truly a crazy baffoon."

"No, it merely proves how little a threat he posed to me..."

"Say what you want, I can't stop you." He looked Crouch in the eye. "But that won't change my opinion of him. Bryn was a strong man. He was more of a man than you will ever be."

"Well, he'll be much better worm food than I'll ever be don't you agree?" Crouch smirked at him.

"I wouldn't say that, you're pretty rotten."

"Rotten but not DEAD."

"No matter how anyone tells the story, the final matter is he lost." Crouch defended angrily even though he knew he suffered a fair share of defeats on Bryn's account and he had posed a true threat to his plans on more than one occasion.

"You will lose too. One day."

"IF that day ever comes... which it won't, you have my consent to laugh..."
