Strayer Safehouse

Oliver mildly rolled his eyes
"If you say so..." But his deep purple eyes bore into Artisans, as if reading from his soul like it was a script
"You were the runt of your family, your confidence hides what you feel you aren't good at." This all sounded dark coming from the physical mouth of a child

"No, I don't. He was starting to feel agitated by this interrogation of his soul.

"I've missed you so much!" He kept his hold on her as though she would evaporate in a second if he let her go.

Oliver sighed, a sort of longing, understanding sigh
"I know you do...but hey, if you claim you have no feelings of inadequacy I won't argue." He was challenging Artisan to say something back as he lowered to the ground slowly eating away bits of a fresh strawberry

"I missed you too!" Sam hugs him tightly, trying not to think of how terrible it was here without him.

"Yeah, I think that'd be better for you if you don't. I'm running with the big dogs now!" Artisan assured him.

Crest kissed her again, only now taking notice to the grown hair on his face, "Oh... wow.."

Sam chuckles, "You should probably shave."

Oliver leaned his head against a window, his white hair falling over one eyes as his face turned somber
"I was a runt before anyone started appreciating what I did..."

"Oh... yes. I've truly fallen from the Strayer accepted look protocol." He conformed to all his families policies with zealotry. "I'll have to do a lot. Cut the hair too.."

"What changed you?"

"Do you like the protocol look?" Sam runs her hair through his now longer hair.

Oliver laughed a bit, the laugh sounding childish
"You might not believe this but...Leon did."

"Okay that one I don't believe..." Artisan commented.

"I.. don't understand the question..." Crest might as well have been asked an impossible equation.

"Do you like having your hair short or have you ever wanted to do anything different? Anything other than the Strayer protocol?"

Oliver shook his head
"Forget it, it's, not like it really matters. Your with bigger people am I right?" He looked back at Artisan with almost lost eyes, which looked frightening on a child
"And I am too..."

"I... don't know... I never had it any other way. what do you think?" Crest inquired.

"See? Things worked out!" He patted him on the back like a big brother helping his sibling back on a bike.

Sam continues to run her hand through his hair.  "Either way.  You're still the same Crest, despite your hair length."  She smiles.

Oliver's eyes darkened too a sinister purple as he faxed out the window
"Terror is coming..."

"Pardon?' Artisan asked concerned.

"I.. think I'll keep it. You haven't stopped stroking it since I got in."

IC  Sam smiles, blushing a little, "Okay!"

Oliver, shook his head, his bright smile returning
"It's nothing." Hi crossed his legs, still floating. His vampiric senses perking up
"Sounds like your brothers home"

Crest smiled and kissed her once again.

"Oh really? To be honest I didn't even know he was gone given how silent he usually is.."

Oliver shrugged in agreement
"Makes sense, speaking of..." He sniffed the air a bit "no wonder I feel kinda comfortable around you, your a dampire."

IC Sam kisses him back, feeling so happy and delighted.

Artisan shushes him, "Exnay on the ampirevay..."

"Oh dearest.. I'll never leave your side again..." (I give him a week lol)
