Heather's Asylum

FUCK!!  Raven gets a couple of cuts before she finally starts to outrun him.  She now attempts to throw stunning spells back at him as she runs, seeing if they'll do any good.

The madman fell backwards but the spell seemed to have a reduced effect on him as he rose seconds later, resuming the chase.

Well, it bought me a few seconds...  She runs until she finds a ventilation shaft, just barely big enough for a human to crawl through it.  She jumps up and crawls in, looking outside to see if her pursuer will catch her up here.

The blind man swiped his knife and listened around but heard nothing and promptly left the room to continue his fruitless searching.

Meanwhile back with Crest, he had found a place to hide for a time, but knew that to end this he had to find Heather. He waited behind a desk in an office room, where he could only get a glimpse of what was happening in the room.

Raven silently sighs with relief and proceeds to softly crawl through the vents.

The fat man walks into the room, looks around for what seems like forever, and finally leaves, going the direction that Crest needs to go.

Crest examined the hallway. His objective lay just past this monster. But how to get it?

He thought hard but then remembered. He had a wand! He could hardly believe the thought had lapsed him! 

With that in mind, he aimed his wand at him and sent a stunning spell straight at him. Victory was his.

The fat man turns around, the stunning spell having bounced right off of him!  "Tiny Bird..."

Crest cursed to himself in his head, as he pocketed his wand. But this left him only one option. He couldn't keep going backwards. He'd never win that way. Instead...

He ran straight for the creature. He let only the need of the moment fill him, swallowing all fear. When he got straight in front of him, he slid under his legs getting past the man but didn't stop to revel in his victory as he kept running.

The man chases Crest.

He saw a room at the end of the hall, and burst into the door slamming the door behind him. He knew heather had to be close. He could feel it in his instincts.

While intimidating the criminal element could get him so much, he knew Heather was a master of surveillance....

Raven was still out there and he had little to no leads to go on. He needed information and Heather might have it. He'd have to 'persuade' it out of her though...

Remembering all the ways he entered previously and the failures he'd encountered through his standard MO with her, he decided to take a more tactical approach. 

Disguising himself as a respectable boy who needed therapy, he walked in through the front door and looked for the person to talk to for an appointment.

There is a lady at the desk, but is very oblivious to what Heather truly does in her free time.  Seeing the boy, she looks at him and asks, "How may I help you?"

"Yes, is Dr. Brown in? I'd like to schedule an appointment." He spoke as normally as he could, not demanding or domineering at all.

"Let's see..." The woman scrolls through pages on her computer.  "When would you like to see her?"

"Immediately... would be best."

"We usually don't have any walk-in appointments..."  The woman has clearly never come across this situation before.  "One moment."  She presses a button and speaks into a mic.  "Doctor Brown, there is a young boy who wants to speak with you..." After a few long minutes, a reply comes.  

"Let him in."  

The woman's eyes widen.  But she stands and leads the stranger to a door.  "She'll meet you right in here."

"Thank you..." Crest gives the receptionist an actually charming smile as he follows her inside.

But as soon as the door closes his stone faced demeanor returned, "Should've tried this approach years ago."

Eventually, Heather walks in, pushing her glasses up against her face and holding her clip-board close to her.

Crest walks straight up to her and knocks the clipboard aside, "You have information I want. And you're going to give it to me."

"Well, Mr. Strayer, long time no see..."  Heather had looked human at first, having shown emotion purely for her job.  But after the clipboard is knocked out of her hands, she goes back to the sociopathic person she really is.  "What information do you need?"

OOC you know, it's kinda freaky how similar the two can be at times O.O

"Raven. Everything you know on her, now." He demanded as he pushed the chair against the door and locked it to seal them both in.

"Why do you need to know so badly?  Shouldn't you be at home taking care of your pregnant wife?" Heather raises a brow, curious on what Crest will reply to that.

"And how do you know that? I've swept my home a hundred times over!!!"

"I have my sources...  But really, considering your wife's deep depression and the addition of her pregnancy, you should really be taking care of her."

"I AM taking care of her, by getting rid of Raven and eventually you..."

"However you may be useful to me now. So talk or else..."
