Heather's Asylum

My eyes widen with great interest and fascination. I just nod, as if I'm her paid counselor, "I'm sure you didn't..."

OOC I'm watching Black Butler, so I was tempted to say, "I'm sure you didn't, my lord..." xD

I look past her and see my parents standing there again,they were smiling but they're eyes were sad.
"Mom...?" I say distantly, stepping forward a bit. But I look down and the ground seemed to drop into an endless pit and I heard those same words again.
Your demented, your fallen and because of this your parents lie under the ground!
I snap back and immediatly try to stand straight as if nothing happened.
"Like you believe me"

"Believe that it wasn't your fault? Well, I can't believe something when I have no knowledge of it."

My stomach does a backflip and I cough a bit of blood into my hands. To me it looks black
"Since when was my blood black...?" No, I shake my head, damn Dimentia turn off! I hit my forehead a few times
"Sorry" I shake my head, "Anyways, you probably think I did do it..."

"I don't judge unless I have knowledge of it. I didn't see what happened, so I can't prove anything of what you say of that day."

"I didn't do it on purpose!" I shout involuntarily "My powers were...unstable back then....they went out of control and..." I pinch back the threat of tears
"They got caught up in it...and everyone says I did it on purpose!"

Oh, how I love the minds of the mentally unstable... "Most people are judgmental and automatically assume the worst."

"Yeah, and if my parents died because of my, why did they help me escape?" I look around as if other people are here
"Someone tell me, please."

"If I knew, I would tell you..." And I'd very much like to know... This girl has intrigued me.

"Well..." I find a place to sit down
"Is there something you could ask that might HELP you understand?" I ask a little sarcastically

"When I think of something, I'll ask..."

"You know it's real fucking stupid" I get up and walk a bit past her
"I didn't want my powers, I didn't want to be mentally messed up half the time. I could've been regular...my parents could still be here..."

"Life is unfair that way..." I simply nod.

"Oh...and I never asked. What's your name? I'm, Mona."
I pull out a cig and light it.

"I'm Heather..."

"I really don't get why your building this place..."

"I'm a psychologist... Why WOULDN'T I like to build this place?"

"Because you've got better things to do? Psychosis my ass...I'm still in touch with reality."

"That much is obvious..."

I hold up my hand
"I only know about THREE things I have, Dimentia is one of them, then there's cleptomania and ADD." I shrug
"Other than that there's nothing."

It's amazing, how she's telling me all this... At first it seemed she wanted nothing to do with me. "How interesting..."

Why is it the people with the powers always get the short end ?
"But enough of me rambling."

"Oh, no, it's all right. Continue, if you wish." I smile.

"I'm not sure if I should, I've only ever trusted one pscyologist and her name is Rose."
Rose was one of those people who was in her job for a better reason.
"She told me allowing me to get angry is better than trying to put me down like others did."

"I assure you, I wouldn't try to put you down..." I'd simply experiment on you as I do everyone else.
