Outside of Hogsmeade

"Oh she'll be coming in a few seconds..."

Raven had sighed after reading the letter, but she'd do anything for Crouch.  So, she walks to wherever Crouch is, acting all depressed.

He adopted a gentle tone and put his hands on her shoulders, "Hey Raven... how are you today?"

"A bit better, I guess..." Raven says, doing the best acting she could.  

Gerard stares at Raven, marveling at how someone could hurt someone so beautiful.

This was like terrorizing children, he was absolutely smitten with Raven! Making him fall would be so simple so long as she went along with it. 

"I'm glad you decided to come out Raven, I found someone who I think would be fun to hang out with..."

"Really?" Raven looks at Gerard for the first time, shocked to see someone in her kind of style.

"I'm Gerard..." He holds out his hand and Raven shakes it, noting how abnormally warm it is.

"And I'm Crouch, but friends call me... Crouch." He laughed at his own bad joke.


'And enemies call me the last thing they ever see...'

"Nice to meet you, Gerard..."  She lets a small smile come to her face, and that makes Gerard smile as well.

"So tell me Gerard, what do you like to do for fun?"

"Play my guitar, mostly..."

"Oh may we hear a tune?" He takes a seat and smiles happily, feigning interest as hard as he could.

"Sure!"  Gerard starts to play a song on his guitar, Raven actually liking the sound.

As he played, Crouch's mind worked. This man seemed borderline pacifistic, clearly not anything useful in the new death eater regime. In fact, he seemed to have nil interest in politics.  

Despite these detriments, his power was simply unignorable. He saw the vast capability for destruction this one man had. He just had to incite anger into him, sow hatred into his very being. 

But how...

So far he was winning points with him by using attraction, not a good way to weave in the darker emotions he needed to harvest. 

Unless...

Crouch applauded the performance with a smile, having not even registered a note with his thoughts, "Bravo!"

Gerard smirks, "Thanks..."

"Would you be open to playing for us again some time?"

"Of course!" Gerard says excitedly.

"Wonderful! I'll let you know when I'm open to hang out again!"

He hugged Raven, whispering into her ear, "Talk sweet to him..." 

"Nice meeting you! Bye!" He disapparated to let Raven connect with him.

Raven hugs him back and nods, then turns back to Gerard.  Then they spend the rest of the day together.

'Know what the key to world peace is?'

'Some would tell you it's more love, more brotherhood or putting aside differences...'

'pfft! The hell do they know! The real answer is napping. If people took naps every day, pretty sure wars would stop...'

Topher had to admit, his groggy thoughts were a bit random but he couldn't help but find it true. As he stretched instant rejuvenation and energy surge through him, blood rushing through his arms as though running a marathon. 

As his arms went to his side, he felt his deck protruding from his jacket pocket. It had been so long since he had played a good game of poker. Maybe he'd hang out with his friends and play a few hands...

Gerard had run far from that restaurant.  He doesn't know what to think.  All he knows is he needs to calm down before he burns down another building.

OOC Yeah, you're kind of 0 for 2 there Gerry, may want to look into the fire version of Elsa's gloves...

Topher looked over and saw... what was his name? It had blanked from his mind, but he knew it started with a J!

OOC  and IC Well whenever you don't remember someone's name, don't use it.

"Hey buddy!"

Gerard sees Topher and gives him a half smile.  "Hey..."

"How's it hangin'?"

"Well, I met Raven..."

"Like you met Raven?" He gave a thumbs up with a smile, "Or you met Raven..." And he gave a thumbs down with an exaggerated terrified face.
