The Dungeons

'Umm. i dont know.' She frowned. 'You might have caused her serious damage. thats what Pomfrey said.' Ok, twisting the truth a bit, but it was kind of true

"hmmm..." I click my tongue, "I find that a difficult to believe..."

'Why?'

"Seeing as the only spell I used on her was one that doesn't pertain to any true injuries..."

'No, only death. But...this is your sister.  Im starting o think she is impossible to kill...Make completely unconius, on the other hand...'

"Seems to be that way."

'Do you feel no remorse?'

"Remorse... is a tricky business."

I have only one true regret in my life, and that was not ending our father earlier.

She nods. 'Fair enough Junior. Just...think of your sister before you do anything else completely stupid, alright?' She steps away from him

I just let her walk away, thinking deeply.

Things with him and Saphire were right again. We had an awesome time together and I'm just looking forward to the next one.

Silence.

Complete and utter stillness; an aspect of life Amaya had grown accustomed to with ease. Even in the dark dungeon she managed to remain completely noiseless. 
Patience.

She crept up on him carefully, not striking yet, simply observing. She had time, but only one opportunity.

Making his way through the dungeons, he couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. Probably nothin' to fixate on, just the creepy feel of the place was like staring right into Crest's eyes to me.

how cliche. A guy gets killed in a dark corridor on his own.

Cautiously, she drew out one blade, fingers itching towards the gun strapped to her knee at the same time.

shoot or stab..?

She decided in seconds, running the blade along her fingers to focus herself. Amaya knew it was likely she'd make little damage on the first throw, but she was only planning to draw his attention anyway with it.

Releasing the blade, she'd aimed for his abdomen, barely taking in a breath.

"SONOFABITCH!!!" I grab my abs as something sharp lodges itself into it.

"WHo the fuck did this?!"

'Guess.'

she stepped out of the shadows with ease, voice completely dull and dead of emotion. Amaya had already detached herself from the situation, not even reacting to the small circle of crimson forming around his gut.

"Maya..." My eyes widen in shock,"Wh..whe..why.. WHERE DID YOU GO?"

'Why do you care? You're the one that discarded me.'  A twitch in the corner of her lips, the beginning of repressed laughter.

"Well when ya don't exactly TELL SOMEONE YOU'RE LEAVIN', kinda makes 'em think ya don't care..."

"Don't try to pin this on her..." Brogan stepped out, looking pretty impressed by the knife in him. She really did mean business.

'Then you clearly didn't know me at all.' she concluded flatly, drawing another knife.
i knew you were an idiot, but if you actually thought that then you're really the dumbest person i've ever met.

She didn't bother saying this aloud, not wanting to dramaticise the moment.
'guess it's your turn Brogan.'

"You know what a real man does when another tries to take something from him? THIS!" He grabs Joachim by the head and slams it hard into a wall.

holy shit.

Although used to displays of brutality, the girl still winced, taking a step back and not involving herself. She knew she'd hesitate if she involved herself again, fearing that her emotions would betray her.

He has to die.
I can't go back on my word.

'Let him talk.' she compromised, watching Joachim intently. 'I'd like to see what shitty ass excuse he makes this time.'

Brogan glares at her, "Talk is cheap."

'He's my ex, i get more say in this.' she argued with no passion in her tone, blade still gripped in her hand.

'Maybe i want to see him cry and beg. I'm sadistic like that.' It was entirely true, Amaya did find pleasure in pain.

"Look Maya, I honestly had NO idea... ya just up and left. I didn't know what to do! Ya vanished like a fuckin' ghost."

"I thought it was me, thought ya finally smartened up and got fed up of me like everyone else..."
