He smiles. 'I have my ways.'

"Well don't leave me hanging in the dark now..."

'Sorry, if i told you, then i would have to kill you.'

"Yeah... I'll tell you what kid-o, if you can manage it, I'll let you."

his smiled turned slightly menasing, and he shiimmered, growing darker, as if fading into shadows. 'Dont issue a challange when you dont know the outcome.'

I swing my bag from over my shoulders to the ground in front of me, "But I already do." I give him a confident smirk. "Artisan Strayer wins all challenges."

'When competeing against normal humans, maybe.'

"Keep thing yourself that kid-o."

'Next time you use the term kid-o in front of me, i will prove how...unhuman i m.'

"Chill out... Kid-o." I empathize the last word, always ready and ever seeking if new challenges.

The boys eyes narrow and he sighs. 'Seems my parents were right. i cant even last one day in the human world.'

Phaze emerged from the shadows of the trees. He lent against a tree, eyeing potential victims.

Big guy's hungry; I need to find him some food quick.

I finish devouring a small animal and throw it's carcass aside, licking the blood from my lips
"God, I've been hungry lately, maybe it's because of the stress of what's going on. I better leave soon." Stands up and lights her wand with Lumos

Phaze noticed a light, most likely from someone casting a Lumos. He hurried in the direction the spell had been cast from, and grinned as he saw who'd cast it.

Perfect.

"'ello love, what's a pretty little thing like you doing out 'ere by yerself?" Phaze hid his face with the rim of his top hat.

I spin around noticing someone with a hat over his face with a distinct accent.
"Oh um...I was just eating." Idiot! Don't tell him that. I sigh and lower my wand, "I was just about to leave."

"What a coincidence!" Phaze lifted the top hat, revealing his dirty face and sharp grin "I was just looking for food!"

Not for myself though... He didn't add.

I rubbed my head a bit
"Yeah well...my food is kinda...different." She said running her tongue over her fangs

"As is mine, but to each their own!"

Phaze approached the girl, and extended his gloved hand in greeting, placing the other behind his back as he bowed.

"My mate's call me Phaze; I forgot my real name."

I shake his hand, smiling at his manners
"My name is Jenna, and...you can't remember your real name?"

"Why don't you try livin' on the streets for 2 years, see how much you remember from when you had a family."

Phaze presented himself to her, showing his ripped sleeves, battered top hat and un-bathed body; all souvenirs of his time on the streets.

I looked down
"Oh, I'm sorry..." I guess I wouldn't know seeing as how I've never been homeless.
"I can't remember my parents very well"
