I show up after a few second in a suit. "Am I late?"

'nope.' I look him up and down. 'DOnt you look dashing.' I say, throwing a glance at Joachim.

"Well I had some help to be fair."

'still, you look nice.'

"Thanks, so do you."

Word had spread far and wide about the union of Marquees Christopher Noir and Martin Koller. Nobles from across France had come and even some street friends Topher had made during his travels had managed to sneak inside. How was anyone's guess.

She was sitting in one of the house rooms, thinking about wedding that will soon happen, excited but slightly scared.

Everyone had taken their seats and all my friends and family had taken a front row.

Topher fixed the tie for the umpteenth time to make sure it was flawless as he stood waiting.

With a deep breath she walked in, wearing a beautiful wedding dress. Her smiled seemed a bit nervous, but still extremly happy.

An angel could've flown down and I wouldn't be more stunned than I was right there, "Damn..."

The preist gives me a disapproving look for using profanity in the eye of god.

"Sorry buddy."

She couldn't help but laugh. Even though the preist found it innapropriate, she found it pretty cute.

Joachim was standing to the side as the best man, watching his best buddy have the happiest day of his life and was evermore surprised that he let him ever be apart of this.

The priest begins as soon as Topher and Potion are facing each other, their gaze not breaking.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of god..."

The bawls from Mrs Noir were the most audible thing in the room of stillness and wonder.

She was standing in front of Topher like she was frozen, and few tears of happiness were showing up in her eyes. She was hearing priest's voice like from distance... all that was important to her was that in few minutes she'll become Topher's wife...

"Do you, Martin Koller, take Christopher Noir to be your lawfully wedded husband? To love and cherish until death do you part?"

OOC You know, you never hear about UNlawfully wedded do you?

Because marriage is a legal act as well as a religious act. (Yes, marriage is a religious act first), So it'd be impossible to be wedded to someone unlawfully. The Government (nor said religious body) wouldn't recognise it, therefore it's not a marriage legally or officially.

Why the fuck are they still banning gay marriage? Seriously? How the hell is their marriage gonna effect your life? Sorry, I don't see the point in keeping it illegal. I just don't. Maybe it's because I don't have the right to marry the person I love or whatever, but it just pisses me off and amuses me at the same time.

O o c Trust me, it pisses me off too. It's like they are forbidding you to love someone you love. How do they have rights to do that?
And I'm sick of all that talk that it's against church and God. Screw that, isn't the religion the one teaching us that love comes before everything. You woukd think that humans already know better than to value someone's sex over emotions.

Yep, most religious people don't listen to what the bible says. They just do their own little things. They pick and choose. It pisses me off.

O o c Personally I'm atheist, but I do believe that Bible and other religions do send us a good message. At least they did at the beginning. And then powerful people started using them for their own sake.

Topher: Biting back a outburst of excitement that desperately wished to escape me, I reply, "I do!"

OOC Here's my two cents:

I believe gay people should be allowed to marry. Especially in America, where we have not only the added incentive of the bible's words so often ignored but also freedom to follow our hearts as a core tennet that makes up america. They're not hurting anyone, let the people do as they please!

I'm agnostic, I accept that I don't know if a god exist or not, but I feel religion started with very good intentions. Love for man, unity, charity, what's not good about that? It becomes trouble when it's used as a crutch for power.

Oh and btw anyone want to jump in and be a part of this, be our guest!
