The Library

I sighed in relief.
"Good, thanks." I pulled out a few books. Them I thought, maybe he could be my first friend. Maybe even one I told my secret too
"I'm Jenna" I said, "you?"

"I'm Teddy. It's nice to meet you." He smiled warmly at her.

I smiled back. So far so good Jenna, your not messing this up.
"So, what're you looking for?" I asked casually

"Research on the consequences of summoning. It's for Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"I'm just, searching for anything I guess. My magic really, really sucks." Maybe that's because I spend more time on my vampiric skills than I do with magic!

He looked at the books on the shelf. "Maybe you just need some practice and not something from here."

I shook my head
"Honestly anything helps. I'm surprised I can even do magic actually."

He furrowed his eyebrows together in confusion. "Are you a squib?"

I arched one eyebrow
"A...squib? Um, no...not unless that's what hybrids are called these days."
Wait, damn it Jenna

He shook his head. "Squibs are from magical families but have little to no magical abilities themselves." He didn't press the whole "hybrid" topic. It looked like she wasn't very comfortable talking about it.

Few. I breathed a sigh of relief
"Okay, got it. No one taught me really, I'm just assuming I don't have a lot of skill." Something caught my nose, I sniffed the air. Was it his blood? I hope not

OOC Don't know if you've got something planned or not, but I should have warned you that Teddy's been very ill as of late and he coughs/vomits blood quite frequently...

IC He looked at her oddly. Was she sniffing the air like a dog? "Are you okay?" He brushed a hand through his violet hair to get it out of his face.

OOC oh know I'm not, I'm just narrating as it might happen with Jenna

"I'm fine! I'm just really sensitive to smells, and sun, and a certain herb used in cooking...but other than that I am great."

OOC Thanks! He dyes it regularly. I wish I could dye my hair crazy colors, but alas job dress code says I cannot.

IC "I see." He picked up the book that he was flipping through and nodded towards her. "Do you need any help with your spells? I've got the rest of the day free. We could go somewhere and practice?"

I immediately leapt at the oppritunity
"Yes!" Then I retreated, afraid of being too friendly "I mean, yeah, sure, that'd be great." I flipped open the top of a vial I wore for a necklace and took a sip
"Just medicine." I said wtih a convincing smile

OOC Your welcome! And aw, that sucks My job lets me wear crazy colors. I've got a chunck of my hair that's red, I work at Hottopic

IC He laughed at her enthusiasm. "Okay, but don't be misguided. I have a boyfriend." He gave her a warning look that quickly faded into a playful grin.

She laughed in responce to his statement
"Oh don't worry, I have a boyfriend too." Even though by night his job requires he try to stake me every time we see each other...

OOC I WOULD TOTALLY GET YOU HIRED, but I can't because I am not magical T_T
What's your job btw?

"Okay, good." He turned and motioned for her to follow him. "I know just the place to practice."

OOC I work at an animal hospital, but they don't care what I look like. It's my other job that cares. I also work at a church on Sundays in childcare. They care. No facial piercings, no crazy hair colors, no visible tattoos.

OOC Why does it NOT surprise me that the CHURCH is the lace that's against it? -_-Jerks

She followed him inaturallu fast steps
"Okay, where?"

OOC Yeah. Hopefully I'll be able to quit there soon and do whatever the fuck I want!

IC He peered over his shoulder at her. "The Room of Requirement. It's a great place for just about everything."

"Just about everything..." She repeated in a low voice. The possibilities rolled over in Jenna's head.
"Hey when we get there I have something to tell you" she told him with a slight smile

OOC yeah, hopefully!

"Okay!" He lead her to the Room of Reqirement.

Pushing her white hair out of her face, the girl scrawled something onto a notepad. It was oddly muggle-like, but she knew it was necessary. Even inside Hogwarts she did not use her magic for now, she couldn't leave a trace.

It had been an exhausting mission.

Crest could feel something was off. As he walked into the library to gather more knowledge on offensive spells, an uneasiness plagued him... like something was lingering in the air, waiting to ignite. 

Question was though, what?

Whatever the cause of this was, he wanted to be ready for it so he sat across from Donia, nodding to her as he delved into his books, "Good day..."

She almost looked through him as she took note of his features, the scratch of quill on paper halting for a brief second.

The thoughts quickly raced through her head before she spoke. 'I'm sorry, you looked familiar.' She mumbled, returning back to her scribbling.
