The Library

Penny groaned under the weight of her books. She hated Arithmancy, she had no idea why she took it in the first place as she hated numbers, and numbers hated her, but she needed to take one more class and that happened to be the one to fill the slot. She dumped the mountain of books on the nearest table she could find, unaware of the Ravenclaw girl sitting and reading a book there.

I'm not even really affected by the loud noise of books hitting a table, but the other presence in the room causes me to look up. I've never seen this girl here before...

Penny noticed the Ravenclaw girl looking at her and cocked her head to the side. Ravenclaws were supposed to be smart, deductive reasoning surely implied she could try and help, if she'd be willing to.
"You know anything about Arithmancy?" Penny asked brashly, pointing to the books on the table. "I'm drowning in numbers here." She laughed, scratching the back of her head awkwardly.

I nod, closing my book, "I know plenty of Arithmancy!" I get up and go to her, waiting for her to get out her books. "I'm Haven, by the way."

Penny sighed with relief "Thank Salazar!" She quickly unloaded the books and pulled out her quill and parchment, sitting next to Haven. "I'm Penny Bell, and very thankful!" She chuckled, putting out her hand to shake.

I shake her hand, a small but friendly smile forming on my face. "Nice to meet you, Penny."

"Likewise. Now, this devil subject... It's got something to do with numbers and the future, that's all I know, I don't get it, or want to learn it, but I need to pass my NEWTs." Penny rambled, tapping angrily on the criminal book in front of her.
"And I need to continue getting at least semi-decent grades so I can continue playing Quidditch." She rambled. "Sorry I'm dragging on and procrastinating with my life story, but I really hate this class..." She chuckled nervously.

"It's all right, everyone rumbles about what they hate..." I look down at her notes and textbooks. "But it's not that hard once you really listen and do it..." I show her some of the tricks to learning it easy.

Penny groaned out in frustration. "Why can't I get this?!" She asked in an annoyed tone, slamming her head against the desk. ".............. Ow."

She rubbed her now sore head with her hand. " Haven, who really cares if the number 7 has magical properties. How is that going to help me in real life?!" She groaned, placing her head back on the table.

OOC Lol, that's like me and pre-calculus! xD

IC "You never know; you might need to know the information someday. Besides, if you pass this class, you won't have to take it ever again."

OOC - That was me all through maths, with my GCSEs, I ended up getting an E... I suck at math xD

Penny looked up at Haven from her headdesk position. "And even if I scrape by with a bare minimum, at least I can continue hitting sporadic rapidly moving balls into the other teams players, doing what I do best." She smiled, probably taking a little too much pleasure from her beater position. It was her main passion and goal in life though.

I smirk, looking at her, "Well, as long as you follow your dreams, right? That's how you enjoy life!"

"It sure is. If I could spend my life playing Quidditch and baking cakes, I'd be quite content with life." Penny smiled, quickly scratching down a few notes before turning back to Haven. "I make a mean pumpkin pastie, and cupcakes, basically if you can bake it, I can make it!" She beamed. "But if it came down to my own cookery show or playing at the Quidditch World Cup, it'd be the world cup every time!" Penny stretched, cracking her fingers. "What's your dream?" Penny was a rambler, and quick to talk the ear off of anyone who would listen, and it really didn't bother her one bit.

"I enjoy reading... It would be amazing to own my own library or bookstore. Maybe even write a book!"

Penny clapped Haven on the back, "Now there's a cool goal! If you wrote like a factual book, you might even make it onto the Hogwarts curriculum of reading material, or if you did own your own library, you could make it awesome, like, no one has to be silent, speak as loud as you want!" She beamed, speaking rapidly... Maybe she shouldn't have had those 9 Sugar Mice before coming to the library, her sugar high was about to start, she could feel it.

I smile, "I guess that would be fun for some people, but the point of a library is to have a quiet place to study and have all the information you need right there."

"Or. Or or or or or... And just stay with me here, or your library could be a social hub, where fans of literature gather and talk about great novels and fiction and non fiction, that'd be so cool, I'd go there anyhow. But I'm one of the louder brands of witch." Penny shrugged. "Do you want a Sugar Mouse?" She offered, pulling one from her bag.

I smile, "I could probably make that I weekly thing., but not every day. " I look at the mouse, "No thank you."

OOC - I'm going to pass out, so I'm gonna go to bed haha, to be continued :')

"Hey, weekly's better than nothing!" Penny shrugged, before shoving the sugar mouse into her own mouth, crunching a few times on it. "Thanks for the help by the way, you totally didn't have to help me and you did, you're awesome, I like you!" She stated, with a defining final nod.

IC "It's not a problem at all!" I smile, "I'm glad I could help!"

"Oh man, Potion where are you?" I mutter to myself as I'm hopelessly lost in this potion's homework.

She walked in.-Oh, somebody looking for me?-

I turn around in surprise, "Well speak of an angel ad she shall appear!" I jump up to my feet, "hey!"

She smiled and hugged him.-Hey, my dear husband...-

"Hello MRS NOIR." I announce proudly as I spin her in my arms.
