'That's because you have nurse lukas at your service.' he declared with a grin

'Oh? What else does Nurse Lukas do then?'

'Whatever you want him to do.' he added, winking. 'for today only of course.'

'Ill have to get humgover more often.'

'don't abuse your privilege missy.' he said calmly, chuckling.

'Im not abusing it, im just....using it.'

'If you say so.' he was knelt by her side, kissing her softly again. 'You don't look so dangerous when you're lying down y'know.'

She narrows her eyes. 'looks are diseptive'

'I know.' he mumbled, smiling lightly. 'Relax.'

'I am relaxed.'

'Good. Anything you desire?'

'nothing else. No.'

'Well then. I'll let you rest.' he rose to his feet gracefully, picking up the book he'd left behind.

'Hmm.' She yawned and rolled over, her eyes shut again. 'You know, lukas, this bed is amazingly comfortable'

'It would be more comfortable if i were in it too.' he joked.

'Well, i wont argue if you get in,;

In an instant he slipped in beside her, throwing his arm around her shoulder. 'You're right, this is comfortable..' He nipped at her ear, smirking to himself.

She squeals, half laughing. 'Do i taste nice?'

'Of course you do.' he chuckled again, simply being playful. 'I would tickle you, but you're still hungover..'

'And i would hit you if you did.'

'Fine. i'll remain still.' his breath was hot on her ear again however.

She sighed, tucking herself into his body, her eyes drifting shut again.

'Get some rest again.' he was fairly tired himself, having not slept for appropriate amounts of time over the past few days.

Days, weeks had passed and Ace was still tampering with Query's cane, modifying it, perfecting it. She seemed oblivious to the rest of life continuing around her, she didn't care as long as her weapon was perfect. The girl had also been studying tirelessly, only taking small breaks to eat, sleep and shower.

Her growing paranoia had made her cut off contact with her family, performing her research on her own. 'Like my siblings would help me anyway, they think i'm in the wrong, they side with Jim even though HE's the murderer...' she muttered to herself, adding ingredients to a potion.

Ignoring the familiar pang of loneliness in her chest, she persisted with her motions. Ace would be strong, she would stop at nothing to be the best.

After all, she had the greatest mind in her family.

He wandered back into the castle and into this odd room. He didn't see it on his first trip and was eager to explore. He noticed he wasn't alone though.

Joshua stayed by Kevin's side as usual. "Kev, why are you so willing to talk to people? This is not a characteristic of schizophrenia. You know, if I didn't know better, I'd say that you were misdiagnosed."

"Hush Joshua, I'm curious," he chided. Approaching the girl he gave a cautious, "Hello."
