Room of Requirement

He was aimlessly messing with Bryn's hair. Letting it run between his fingers, twirling it. "I love you Bryn."

'You know i love you too Teddy.' he smiled at the gesture, oddly content. Bryn was gentle with his motions once more, trailing a finger down Teddy's nose.

He smiled and kissed Bryn's finger. "I'm so glad you're back. I don't know what I would've done without you here."

'That's an easy question, you would've moved on, found someone else to share the rest of your life with.'

He sat up and shook his head. "I don't think so. I don't think I could ever love someone like I love you."

'I guess we never have to test that theory, do we?' he asked with a soft smile, remaining courteous yet loving as ever.

He smiled, leaned down, and kissed Bryn. He cuddled up next to Bryn, resting his head in his boyfriend's chest.

Hmm, we've been together for about 6 months and he hadn't met my parents yet. I wonder if he'd want to... Teddy rolled his eyes. Stupid idea Teddy, keep it to yourself.

'Something bothering you?' he asked, curious.

He shook his head. "No, not really."

'What'cha thinking about then?' he almost prompted, still curious.

"Um," he fiddled with his fingers, uncertain. "I want you to meet my patents..."

'Really?' he blinked in surprise. 'I wish i could ask the same of you..' in all honesty, he'd never heard from his real Dad since he'd busted the guy out of Azkaban from false accusations.

'What are they like?'

He giggled. "Um, they're muggles. I look just like my dad, but I act like my mom. My mom is, y'know, well, she's a mom. My dad is," he laughed, "wow. My dad is big and tough. He's an auto-mechanic, he taught me everything I know about machines."

He smiled at the fond memories that were resurfacing. "I miss them."

'I don't know how to act around muggles.' he answered dumbly, shaking his head slightly. 'I'd feel weird..' Bryn would try, but he knew barely anything of courtesies.

He shrugged simply. "It's not so hard. Just act very plain. You don't have any magic or special abilities. It's simple, really. I do it all the time when I'm with my folks." He kissed Bryn's cheek. "You don't have to meet them if you don't want to. It was just a stupid idea."

'But we do have magic and special abilities, why would we act any different? they know of our world...'

"My mom and dad don't like it though. They want me to be a 'normal' teenage boy who just goes to a 'special' school." He looked away. "Never mind. You don't have to meet them."

'I'd want to but..' he hesitated, exhaling. 'I don't think I can deliberately hide what I am. I mean, sure i go out and integrate with muggles, but they don't know any better.'

"I said you don't have to meet them Bryn. Drop it," he snapped. He stood and out his clothes back on.

He blinked, hiding the hurt on his face as he rose, conveniently dressed.

'Fine. I see how it is.' his tone dropped to a cold, frosty one.

He headed to the door. "I'll see you later Bryn." He left the room.

The boy didn't even bother responding, patting down his robes and striding out seconds later.

A small studio had formed in the room, decorated with various sheets of music floating listlessly around here. Amaya'd owled Joachim, and was simply scraping a few of her violin strings.

I step inside a little later and look around, "You know I can't resist a dare."

Her violin was balanced carefully in one hand, chin still resting on the end of the instrument. 'It's messy... find a seat somewhere, or think about one being created.' There was a lone music stand in the corner, and she was moving towards it, oddly calm.
