I'm just walking around Beauxbatons, trying to think of an original, powerful spell to go up against that damn Strayer swallow.

"You did well, Raven Phantomhive. I didn't think anyone could crack through Crests ice cold skin. Seems you've adopted your masters talents for corruption."

Out from the trees stepped a man in death eater garb and a large, mouth less death eater mask. His height suggested he was around ravens age.

I turn around at the voice, looking defensive at first.  But when I see that it's a fellow Death Eater, I relax a little.  But I'm still on guard, in case it's a trick.  I smile at the compliment, "I DID learn from the best...  And he's quite simple to break once you know his weakness."

"Hehe.. Yes I suppose when you cover every other weakness, the last one stands out most prominently."

"Like me, you obsess over Crest, but unlike me, you don't know his deepest secret."

I raise a brow, "What's this secret?"

"That I'm afraid I can't say. Your actions to kill him have jeopardized one of my long term ambitions."

"A Death Eater that doesn't want a Strayer dead?  I don't trust that... Who are you?"

"Even if I told you that you wouldn't believe me."

"Do not get me wrong, I wish the Strayers dead.. Just not him. Don't mistake my caution for lack of resolve."

"Why not him? Is it that dark side that is slowly coming out in him?"

"I would be lying if I said that played no factor. I must actually commend you for that."

A smirk comes to my face, "It's easy to tell in him... He started threatening to kill..."

"However he won't actually do it. Crest, while a man of action, will not violate his creed for anything." He spoke as though the stoic strayer was a textbook he had meticulously studied.

"Yes, the little bastard doesn't want to let go of his chains..." 

OOC  But what if Sam's life depended on it?

"He'd only do it if he felt some greater good would be achieved, then his creed becomes negotiable. As you saw, Sam is his weakest joint."

I nod, "She's the only one that can make him crack."

"Actually there is one other who can..."

"And who would that be?"

"Why ruin the surprise?"

I smirk, "So this is going to be public!  Can't wait for the show!"

"But again, I must make a request of you."

"Crest Strayer, is not to be killed."

"I can't promise that..."
