I wipe it away for her, "Look, it may take the idiot some time... but I think he'll find his way back to you."

"I don't think so.. he's already been off with some other girl last night.."

"I know Chimmy... it probably didn't mean squat to him."

"It's just I'm worried that's what I was and then I got clingy.. maybe pushed him into commitment he didn't want.."

"Well I know that isn't right. Cynder told me the idea was entirely his."

She starred out the window for a moment letting his words sink in, slightly frustrated with herself .

I put my hand on hers, "Listen, in my opinion Chimmy needs someone to slap him upside the head at how stupid he is being."

She couldn't help but smile a little "I should have slapped him after I kissed him.. probably would have confused him even more."

"Not goin' to lie, yes you should've." I chuckle.

ooc now I wish I had xD the reaction probably would have been priceless

"Ah don't worry, I'm sure someone has done it."

"indeed he does..... so how's your head feeling now?"

I take out a small mirror that had been laying on the table next to me to take a look, there was but faint discoloring to indicate a bruise had been there, "Wow, that stuff works really well..."

She grinned "it's the magic of natural herbs."

I pull my sheets away and go to stand up, mainly to see if I could.

she watched him closely ready to help steady if needed "so far so good?"

"I think so..." I stand up perfectly fine. "Alright, progress." I smile at her.

They are still here.

I know one is and where there's one rat there's a nest. There have to be more of them here.

There's no other reason for this gut feeling I have. We thought we cleared them out, but I KNOW we're wrong. We have to be, they NEVER give up that easily!

I rip the sheets off of me, grab my wand from the table and sneak out of the room.

IC She smiled brightly hoping off his bed "ready to ditch this place then? I've spent more than my fair share in hospitals.. they kinda give me the creeps now."

"Sure, let me just put this glass down and grab my wand and we'll be set!"

I reach over to the table when my eyes do something very strange. They go a milky white color and I drop the glass and it shatters on the floor.

She looked a little confused "Toph.. you alright?"

Just as soon as the white was there it was gone and I shake my head, "Oh yeah!" I chuckle a bit, "Just butterfingers..."
