Knockturn Alley

"Well you know, by that logic, I've failed to kill you twice. So hey, maybe third time IS the charm..." He looked up at some loose shingles on the roof above Jack and started to cascade them downward toward him.

Jack gets hit by some, but manages to throw some at Crouch with his mind, adding another dagger with it.

Crouch's smile never wavered as he pointed his wand at them one at a time, transfiguring them each into a pile of dust before they hit him, "Please at least make me try..."

"And you think you're making me try?"  Jack smirks, that madness in him starting to show.

"Not yet..." He took the dust and swirled it around his fingers through levitation, "Funny how even the smallest things can be deadly if used right. I wonder what would happen if I pumped your throat full of all this?" With that the dust flies toward Jack, trying to enter his mouth.

Jack stops it with his mind, looking past the sand at Crouch with a raised brow and a smirk.  "I'm a telekinetic, Crouch... Seems your memory has gone down along with your magic..."

"Well, anything explodes you know..." He smirks at him as he throws a spell at the dust to make it explode violently.

Jack is thrown back by it, but he doesn't let that distract him from taking glass from windows with his mind and throwing them at Crouch from all sides.

Crouch apparated himself behind Jack, pointing his wand at his head, "CRUCIO!!"

Jack is hit, but he doesn't dare let himself fall to the ground.  Instead, he grunts through the pain, trying to channel it out of his mind.  He thinks of Sally, his sweet, angelic Sally.  The pain is still there, but it has lessened some.  "The mind is a powerful thing..." He turns around shakily and punches Crouch the hardest he can.  Under the crucio, it's not as hard as he'd like it, but hopefully it would distract him enough.

He stumbles back a bit, enough to stop his curse on him. "Can't people ever just be tortured and die like they're supposed to?!" He growls furiously.

"Not when they're getting as weak as you!" Jack moves to kick him.

Crouch points his wand at his foot to set his foot ablaze, "Don't let my tolerance of your life be mistaken for weakness. I just have higher priorities than you. I'm toying with you, just like Raven toys with Sam and I shall toy with Sally once my ambitions are fulfilled..."

Jack dodges, then freezes at Crouch's very last words.  ...And I shall toy with Sally...  Jack's eye starts to twitch.  "You'll never touch her again...."

"I'll do far more than that. Tell me, what would you say is the diameter of her neck? I need to find a good leash size.." He joked with a sadistic laugh.

Jack is on Crouch in a split second, squeezing his throat.  "You even TOUCH Sally, and I will hunt down everyone you care about, make you watch, and then kill you slowly and oh, so painfully..." There's a fire burning in Jack's eyes, the madness even more clear than before.

A choked laugh could be heard, "You can try... everyone I care about is dead..."

"What about your beloved wife and child? What about Raven?  They're alive, are they not?"

"My family is moved. You'll never find them. And Raven can hold her own. Surely you've seen how roughed up she makes your daughter and son in law..."

"But they're somewhere on this earth, which means it is possible that I can and will find them... And Raven is strong, but everyone can be broken..."

Crouch forced him off him with a spell, "Believe me Jack, do you REALLY think you're in so safe with your new family?"

"You were a monster then, you're a monster now. You're just following their orders. They've TAMED you... And I have no respect or pity for tamed beasts..."

"If I were under their orders, I wouldn't be threatening to kill your family, would I?" He glares.

"Would you make those same threats with Cresty standing next to you?"

"Yes... Yes I would... You see, the Strayer family doesn't understand the fact that the only way to stop you is to kill you... I'm not going to let anyone stop me." Not even my wife... It's the only way to protect her.

"Well at least one person gets it. But what can you do? Their mercy has been one of my greatest assets..." He chuckled most fiendishly.
