Eugene aides Sally in taking him out, "Wait a minute... where's Topher?"

Sally's eyes widen, "Oh dear..."

"Where is he?!"

"He was the distraction..."  Sally looks down with great concern, "Maybe they caught him!"

"What should we do? Go in and rescue him? The death eaters will be ready for us if we do."

"We need to get Sarah's soul out of here... But we can't just leave Topher behind.  Is there anyone we can call for help?"

"Maybe... who do you know?" Eugene was a reclusive soul who seldom saw anyone not in the dungeons with him.

"I know his mother... Umm.... Artemis and Artisan..." Sally desperately tried to think.

"Let's get the Strayers to get him out..."

Sally nods, "Good idea!"

"Sorry..." Eugene offered as a quiet apology to Topher, "Let's get Sarah's soul to safety..."

They leave the manor with Jack, but Sally immediately starts writing for help.

He was in the lounge all alone twirling his wedding band around his finger aimlessly. Like usual he appeared to be bored out of his mind and he was. His life had gotten boring. There was nothing going on to keep him on his toes. He could barely find a reason to get out of bed in the morning anymore.

An Owl flew through the open window, landing in front of him

He cocked his head to the side and leaned forward. "What do you have for me, owl?"

He folded the page and put it in his pocket. He disapparated to the Meadow.

All his machinations were at last bearing fruit. His return to power, the infiltration of Hogwarts..

The ministry was soon to be his, to command he saw fit. The only thorns left in his side was Potter himself and as always Dumbledore. Very soon, that would change..

Even so, he still had pawns at Hogwarts. Perhaps they could give him what he wished for. 

He called in one of his trusted death eaters to bring to them a message...

Maiya appeared in her gothic regalia before him
"You have news my lord?"

"I do... Lord Voldemort wishes for you to speak to my friends at Hogwarts, let them know soon Hogwarts shall be mine to command. And when it is, I wish for them to keep any traitors in line and to support the Carrows and Severus Snape..." Nagini laid on her master's lap and hissed in approval as he stroked her with what he could muster as affection.

"Of course. Though seeing as how I rarely come around there I am unaware of the vast or little traitors there are." She confessed with little emotion

"Namely our usual targets, mudbloods, blood traitors and the like. But I wish for one fact to be made clear."

"No member of the ministry is to be harmed henceforth. They will soon be ours as well so we cannot attack them or else we risk exposure..." He knew of all the death eaters he had there, Crouch would pose the most objection with this order. But his needs were not even secondary to Voldemort. He knew Crouch would obey a direct order from him to his grave. It's what made him such a useful pawn.
