'We can settle it now, no contracts involved this time.' he remembered the first time he'd managed to get her to sign a contract: Her mind for the protection of Phoenix. He'd remained faithful to that contract, even if he didn't possess her.

That would be weird.

He snickered at the thought of Edmund eating too many apples and dying. He couldn't help laughing; he was a sadist at heart. 'Forgive me.' he spluttered through his giggles.
