Hunching his shoulders against the cold breeze, Red stands beside the lake, looking bored. As much as he'd love to go into the forest, it's starting to lose its charm.

I lift my eyes from my book, feeling as if I'm being watched. I look around slowly, carefully observing my surroundings, eventually spotting Red. "Can I help you with something?"

He shrugs then sits on the ground, flopping onto his back. "Bored."

"I don't have the patience for something as ridiculous and boring as a book." He rolls over onto his stomach and does a faceplant - out of boredom, of course. "Boring," he says into the grass, his voice muffled.
