He walked around the lake thinking about all that he needed to prepare for his and River's wedding. There was so much to do and she wanted to get married so soon.

'Well, well, well. Look at the lovebird. Wheres your other half, Death?' Lethe called down from the branch she was sat on.

He rolled his eyes at Lethe and kept on walking, ignoring her.

She jumped down just behind him, landing with a light thump. 'Did you know, its rude to ignore people?'

He stopped and turned to look at her. "Did you know it's rude to pry into someone else's personal life?"

'Not my fault if i know these things.' She rolled her eyes. 'And marrage isnt really personal. everyone will know soon.'

He rolled his eyes. "I know everyone will know soon, but that doesn't give you reason to pry. We're getting married. That's all you need to know."

'AM i invited?' She smiled. 'Because if im not, ill just go anyway. and make life hell.'

"You'll find out when invintations go out. Until then you'll just have to wait like everyone else."

'Of course, Death.' She laughs. 'I still dont see why you want to marry her. shes nothing.'

IC He clenched his jaw and his fists. "How dare you think that of her. She is everything to me. She may be nothing to you, but don't you dare say that about my finance in front of me. Not if you value your life."

'I will say what i think, Death. You do not scre me.'

He smirked. "I must say, that line of thought is sure to get you killed."

'honey, Im fearless. Practically. Plus side of being me. You can blame your dear River for that one.'

"You are everything bad about River put into one infestation. Everyone hates you Lethe. Don't hide from the truth. There's no point."

'Oh, everyone hates me, do they? thats funny, because i have a boyfriend. he doesnt hate me.'

He laughed out loud. "Ahriman doesn't love you. He's a player. He falls hard for a girl for a few months and then he moves on to the next best thing. First it was Sydnay, but when she rejected him for William, he moved on to you." He shook his head. "No, Ahriman will never love you."

She snorts. 'And you really think i love him?'

"No. You're worse than him. You're cold and unfeeling." He looked at her sadly, he pittied her. She wouldn't ever feel the joy of love, of course she never let herself go there. She always kept people at an arms length.

Her eyes narrowed. 'You know nothing about me, Death. nothing at all. never assume anything.'

"I know more about you than you realize." She was just like Ahriman. He had spent four months with Ahriman, sharing his thoughts, his emotions, his body.

'Oh, yeah? Prove it, Death. What am i like?'

"You're cold, calculated. You don't let yourself love anyone. You want to cause trouble, wreak havoc. You get bored easily. You don't really have a side." He smirked. "I told you, I know you."
