I wake up and roll over, seeing crouch. 'Have you slept at all since ive been here?'

plays with a losse string on his black leather jacket avoiding looking at River-

I sigh and sit up. 'Are you ignoring me Elijah?'

looks up at River and smiles- No....Woul ignoring you be a bad thing?

I smile briefly. 'I dont know. depends on the reasons why you would be ignoring me.'

I smile- Crouch wants me to leave you alone...not that I care about his wishes..but I know it makes you upset to see him upset...

I frown. 'I think crouch would happily keep everyone away from me. I can stand up for myself, but i dont think he realises that. question is, are you going to do as he says and leave me alone, or risk his anger?'

I meet her eyes wih my light blue ones so contradictory to my dark appearance and smirk- I shall risk it...I can do whatever I want..I just didnt want you upset if he was upset..

I glance over at crouch, then back at Elijah. i smile. 'I think i can survive.'

Smiles and gets up and walks over to River and sits on her bed with her- Well then...as I said..I shall do what I want....I think I am a selfish person River...just for you to know...

I watch him walk over. 'Selfish how?'

sighs- Dont get me wrong..l really want you to get better so you can leave this place.....but at the same time...I dont..because that means I wont see you anymore...

i smile. 'you should come back with us.'

surprised- You...you want me to come with you?

I shrug, ducking my head so he wouldnt see my cheeks burn. 'its...itts better than being here, isnt it?'

I lift Rivers face up gently and say- I would love to come back with you...

I smile, blushing further. 'good.Your not the only one who can be selfish...'

smiles- How are you selfish? I have seen you being unselfish this whole entire time Ive known you...

I shrug. 'Sometimes even the most unselfish action has a selfish motivation hidden underneath. would it be bad to say i didnt want to not see you again either?'

I smile- No....

IC I look around..Crouch had finally nodded off to sleep..though he could possibly wake up any second....I go over to where River was lying down sleeping...I cautiously brush her hair out of her face and have my hand linger on her cheek...She was everything I wanted....She was different from other girls...but then I was different myself...I sigh and walk away fromher back to my own bed where I simply watch her...
