'Let me tell you something. If I kissed a girl in Saudi Arabia I'd be committing a crime and i'd get the Death Penalty. If i kissed a girl here, it would be perfectly fine.

"I function only by the laws of this nation."

'Therefore the laws of the United Kingdom must be correct.' she added sarcastically. 'Have you ever thought for yourself?'

Thinking back to Axel, I state, "Only once."

'That's... highly depressing. Don't you want to know things about life? Asking why instead of just accepting them how they are? not being a corporate clone?'

Donia wasn't blinded by Death Eater fanaticism, she was fully aware that Voldemort was perceived as evil, and didn't care about his subjects at all.

'Progenitor Strayer.' she didn't need to explain any more. 'I've heard a lot about him. Didn't seem uncorrupt to me.'

With that remark, silence befalls me. "I looked up to him, until he betrayed us." My coldness seems to become a legitimate sadness. I had fought him during that day, trying to stop him. But he overpowered me, and then went after my father. Had I been stronger...

'Then your family isn't perfect, nobody's is completely uncorrupt.' she spoke calmly, with reason. 'You need to make your own conclusions.'

"I know what I have to do." My opinions and resolve weren't going anywhere and there wasn't anyone to change my mind.

'What do you have to do?'

"Whatever I have to. Voldemort has to fall, and that's final."

'Even if it means resorting to his methods to take him down?'

"I don't stoop to the dark arts."

'But if it's what you have to do to win, wouldn't you do it?'

"There's usually more than one way to win."

'What if its the only feasible option at the time?'

I nod my head and speak detached from myself, "Death before dishonor."
