Cynder lowered her eyes and scowled, hunching her shoulders.

"Crouch, Raven... please... sometimes you need friends. And I'm perfectly willing to be there on your side. And anyway, an extra hand should mean a lot to you..."

"I'm sorry Ray.."

I turn to face Cynder, "And what use would you be for us?"

I shake my head, "Don't worry about it, dear friend..."

(( You have no idea. Tiny Slendy is watching me from the fireplace and Jesughieurhgierg.
I love and hate Slenderman. He's adorable. But fucking creepy.
And I played Slender. That doesn't make anything any better. ))

The girl stiffened, holding her shoulders back and straightening, a determined look on her face.

"I'm not afraid to fight, Crouch. And I remember everything you taught me... and anyway, who wouldn't want a shapeshifter on their side?"

"I'll try to help you with him."

"Fine then..." I nod to Cynder.

"Are you sure? I don't want you to worry about this with your recent troubles..."

Cynder remained quite pensive, stiff.
But she nodded warmly, a half-smile curling over her lips.

She said no more, for the time, but merely nodded sympathetically to Raven.

"Yes, but first we must focus on this. Once the Death Eaters from here learn of our quote on quote betrayal, they'll kill us for certain."

I nod. "Oh yes, and something you probably should know... When I got his orders, that Jack Nuel was with him. So he might be involved in this in some way."

"Ah yes... I should've figured he'd leap at a chance to eliminate me. Very well, thank you for telling me this."

"I have to ask..."

I raise a brow, staying quiet, letting him ask whatever he needs to ask, not knowing if the question is toward me or Cynder.

I speak to the air almost, "The Dark Lord... was he.. saddened by my betrayal?"

I shake my head, "No... He was OUTRAGED. And will be even more so when he finds out that I'm joining you. I'm supposed to be the Death Eater here while Sylvester takes my place at Beauxbatons. But no, not saddened, but angry."

I nod my head solemnly, "So then... it's true... it was all a manipulation..."

"He doesn't want any of us to go back to him unless you're dead. He says you know too much too be alive."

Cynder's expression went a bit sad.
It must hurt to hear that.
For Crouch, at least...


Her shoulders stiffened, and she scowled, remaining quiet.
This was not the best time to speak.

Artemis: I walk over to Cynder, "I can't believe this is actually happening..."

Crouch: "And he's smart to do so. I know how to cripple things for the DE here."

I nod, then look up at him curiously, "Tell me, are you looking to kill him?"

The girl nodded carefully to Artemis, hugging the clicking Ohmu to her chest.

"It's really overwhelming to even think about, isn't it? ... But this is a really, really good thing..."

Artemis: "This is unbelievably good. Imagine all the information he must carry, not to mention all the good he could do for the right cause."

"But do you think he can be rehabiliated?"

Crouch: "Not even my best plan could accomplish that. I used all I knew against him last time and didn't even mange to scratch him. The best I could do was not die."

"I see... Then what is your ultimate goal with him?"

"Cripple his operations and presence here... and then move from there."

I nod, thinking about it. "Sounds like a plan."

OOC Should we have Jack working for Voldy? (Of course, Voldy would have to have Sally first... Or one of his children.

OOC There's an idea! I'll have Crou.. whoops, force of habit. Cyn can you play Ivan with Voldy?

Cynder scowled and nodded again, only slightly.

"I can only hope. But he's hurt right now. We shouldn't pry too much... only be kind. Love is all that will heal him right now, no matter how much he might deny it."
