Artemis: I run out to the lake after hearing of Crouch's heroic deed. "Crouch, is it true? You saved Topher's life?" I smile at him, "I knew there was still good in you!"

Crouch: "They'll never find your body." I warn him.

The girl's brown eyes went bright when she saw Artemis, and giving a soft wave, crossed her arms over her chest.

"Come on, Crouch, Lighten up~"

Death came out shortly behind Artemis, hearing of Crouch's "heroic" deed. He stared at the Death Eater, not speaking just yet.

Artemis: "I don't know what's sadder, how little you've changed or how you think you'll get allies that way."

Crouch: I scoff but then look at Death, "So... you're here to take me on too huh?"

Cynder spoke calmly, eyes narrowing as she eyed Death quietly, shoulders tensing.

"Take you on?" he repeated, confused. "Why would I 'take on' a fellow Death Eater? That would be counterproductive, don't you think?"

Artemis: I whisper to Cynder, "Does he have hope?"

Crouch: I grin crazily at Death, perhaps I coud get him to do the jobs for me. "Sorry, I thought you wanted to spar with me. Anyway, I have orders from the Dark Lord to eradicate all the DE here. They're all traitors."

He narrowed his eyes at Crouch. "You lie. The Dark Lord would never order you to eradicate all the Death Eaters here." He stepped closer, looking Crouch in the eye. "I am no traitor! Nor are any of the others here."

Crouch plucked a nerve with Death. He envied the fact that the Dark Lord trusted Crouch over him. "I.... I just-" Death sighed. He could think of nothing to say to protect his pride from being wounded anymore.

He quickly raised a shield and blocked the spell. "You son of a bitch! The hell is wrong with you?" He held his wand pointed at Crouch, outraged at his sudden attack.

"How about this? I've been lied to by the Dark Lord. And he'll pay, pay with his life for it."

"You've gone mad! What has the Dark Lord got to lie to you about? You're his most trusted Junior Death Eater! In fact you're almost to the ranks of a higher up Drath Eater!"

"See for yourself..." I show him the memory in his mind,

-Years back when Crouch as running from his family in the rain, starving and tired. A dying soldier had more life than I did.

Eventually a black mass approaches me and drops his hood to reveal his face,

"A young one like you shouldn't travel these roads so ill-prepared."

I pull out my wand, "Who are you?"

"I am Lord Voldemort, and I have seen your young skills in magic. Join with me my friend, we could use your talents."

Something about this man just completely made me distrust him. He gave off this aura that was the exact opposite of everything good.

"Forget it." I say as I go to walk past him.

The man then swishes his wand and instantly hunger and thirst eat away at me, eventually I fall down into the mud. The puddle surrounding me was a moat in it's own right.

"You shall join me Crouch Jr the IV... one way or another." He points his wand at my forehead and alters my memory to the one I had operated off of that got me to join the Death Eaters

"So he twisted up some of your memories?" He shrugged. "You were born to be a Death Eater and he saw that in you! Look at you now, Crouch, you are a damn good Death Eater all because the Dark Lord harnessed that potential he saw in you years ago."

He raised his wand and pointed it straight at Crouch's chest. "Don't you dare threaten the Dark Lord!" He shook his head. "You're the traitor Crouch, why can't you see what you're doing to your brothers?"

He didn't flinch at all, instead he called Crouch's challenge. "Do it. I dare you." He held his wand tightly with a clinched fist, ready to destroy Crouch if he did anything. No traitor deserved to live.
