The Red Marble Bar

Named after its blood red counter tops and matching decor, this sketchy haven is a thieves dream. Gambling, drinking, fighting and muscle for hire can be found within it's dimly lit walls.

"Nice choice..." I praise my girl as I survey the area, man this looks like my kind of place.

She smiled brilliantly "it's awesome.. and the best part is the only way to find out about it through another thief."

"Sweet! How did you come upon this place?"

She smirked looking a bit proud of herself "bested the owner in a game of pool."

I burst out laughing in pride, "THAT'S me girl!!"

She beamed wrapping her arm around him as they headed for the bar "it was pretty awesome"

"Ah man, I wish I coulda been there to see that!"

"I'm sure you'll get to see my skills soon."

"How about right now?" I smirk at her.

she smiled impishly "sure!"

"You're goin' down little missy.." I say mischeviously, "Oh yeah and I'll beat you at pool too..."

She giggled lightly "I'll let you think that.. for now anyway."

I set all the balls (pumpkin) up and roll them on the table to get them all in the perfect arrangement.

"Time to show ya..."

she gestured for him to go ahead "go ahead show me what you got."

I ready my stick and knock the cue ball into the formation,

*WHACK*

The balls all divide up quite far, and a solid red 3 ball goes in.

"Still got it, what do you got, toots?"

She smirked seeing where he had lined up a perfect shot "don't say I didn't warn you". she slid past him making sure to brush against him as she took aim and with a sharp crack as the cue ball smacked into the striped purple 12 and then hit the green 6. Both rolled into a corner pocket.

Oh crap, she's takin' advantage of my lady problem... no trouble, I can do this..

"Ah that's cute, now let a man show you.." I line up my shot and *SNAP* It connects and sends the solid 7 into one corner pocket. But then cue ball knocks in the solid purple 4 into one of the side pockets..

she grinned watching him "I have to admit you're pretty good, doesn't mean you're going to win though" She studied the table for a second and then took her shot the cue ball skipped over the eight ball in her way. it smacked into the yellow one ball which went into a side pocket, and knocked into the blue ten that rolled slowly toward another pocket and teetered on the edge of falling in.

Well, I'm screwed...

"Wow, that's pretty good... I like a dame who can shoot..." I smirk at her and put my stick behind my back and make a trick shot to send the 10 ball in.

She watched impressed as her made the shot. She walked next to him with a grin "and i like a guy who can handle a stick" she giggled as she kept her eyes on him taking her shot and hitting the cue right into the seven which rolled into the pocket he had just made the ten in.

"Oh believe me... I know what I'm doin' with a stick.." I wink at her.

The pressure was on now. Only a few balls left to go and then the 8 ball. I aim a shot to sink the 5 into one of the side pockets, however it just comes up short.

Dammit, this is usually a lot easier with Topher workin' his magic here.

She was looking to see if their was a way to set up the last few in one smooth shot, but it was difficult to concentrate with the sound of drunken angry voices close by. As she turned to tell the two guys to shut it a bottle flew across the room barely missing her head and bursting against the wall. With in seconds the bar was a complete chaotic blur of fists, bottles and spells flying back and forth.

I groan and take a last swig of fire whiskey and crack my knuckles, "So much for that..."

She smirked as she decked a guy coming her direction looking satisfied when the big guy hit the ground "so do you wanna stay and get caught in the middle of this or blow this joint?"
