She pulled him against her, kissing him, before stopping, her eyes snapping open, full of fear- and confusion. she backed away from him, as far as the branch would let her.

'The orignial potion, that River made...its designed to make you someone knew, the person you wanted to be. So River wanted to be what she isnt- No family, not caring about things, not good. Thats what i am. I cant like you...I cant' She was have trying to convince herself, half talking to him. SHe didnt look at him, instead, studied the bark on the tree.
