Astronomy Tower

There was a pensive, thoughtful air about the girl as she carefully ascended the tower steps. Meredia walked straight to the edge, one step could send the girl falling to her demise, but she ignored that fact as she became more pondering.

Word had already spread about the conspiracy, it had leaked into the media, into the heart of every wizard and witch at Hogwarts. How the Strayers are the corrupt ones, that Crest had been arrested....

She didn't believe it though, she never did.

A light breeze tousled her brown hair whilst her hands fell to her sides, face creasing with her growing frustration.

'What do i do?' she asked into the empty space in front of her, voice barely a whisper. But, as usual, she received no response.

-An owl flies to Meredia.-

-Sure enough, the note was in braille. But there were also spots of wetness that could be felt.-

"Meredia,
There is a secret I must tell you that you cannot share with anyone outside of Sam. I am innocent. I was not part of the plan, I didn't mastermind it. None of us did. But I can't return to normal life. Not for a long time.

I wanted one other person to know. Please tell Sam. Do not try to contact me, you will fail."

-From the lege where I was sitting, I look at her and say with somber eyes, not my usual cold collectiveness, just somber.- "Keep my secret..."

I walk up to the Astronomy Tower, but just barley make it. I clutch onto my stomach, my vision going in and out of focus. I look very pale and ill.

-I look over my shoulder and jump over the rails and over to Sam.- "Dearest..."

I look up at Crest, just seeing a figure at first, but then I smile when I see that it's Crest. I smile faintly, "Crest... I'm so happy to see you..."

-I hug her tightly.- "None more than me!"

-I turn to look at Meredia.- "Meredia, I need your help more than anyones."

I hug him back weakly, and look at Mer, smiling. "Hello, Meredia. How are you doing?"

"Look I don't have much time so here it is..."

"As you both probably know by now, I've been labelled a traitor to the Ministry. But I'm innocent, I only took that role to protect the Strayers."

I look up at Crest, now literally worried sick... "Crest... You... You're a fugitive?" My legs shake a bit and I feel light headed. "But why have you been labelled a traitor? What happened?"

"Correct, it isn't true."

"But the only way the Ministry would stop hunting my family is if they found the one responsible and executing him. So I lied to them, told them that I'm the one who planned a coup against the Ministry all so they would stop hunting my brothers and sisters."

"But there's more that I'm doing from the outside to help my brothers. I'm keeping track of a few criminals pretending I'm one of them."

"This is where you guys are needed."

"What do you... Need us to do?" I look willing, but very weak, incapable of doing a lot right now. Crouch... Sarah... I hope she's okay...
