The Library

-He put his hand on her arm, slightly surprised by her outburst- Gobs, i had to go away for a bit. i couldn't tell you because.. it was dangerous. -He bit his lip, waiting for her reaction. He immediatley regretting saying that-

- Her arm jerked away from him as soon as his words sank in. - "Why does that mean I couldn't know? Because I'm too innocent and weak? And it might have been nice of you to tell your girlfriend that you were leaving."

-Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit.- Gobs, I'm sorry! I didn't think. Okay? I had to leave quickly I didn't have time to tell you. -He looked at her pleadingly- Please. im sorry. -his voice turned to a whisper-

- Goblet felt a little guilty, she was never good at staying mad at people but she just wasn't in the mood today. - "Whatever." - She shrugged and didn't look at him, and blurted out before she could stop herself, her mouth was talking without consent - "I guess that's why you're in Hufflepuff, if you didn't think. I didn't think about being your girlfriend - people make mistakes"
- as soon as she realised what she had said she clapped her hands over her mouth. Where did that bitchiness come from?! That wasn't even how she felt. - "Shit" - she whispered to herself -

-he started at her, unable to find the words- I..i... -He growled low in his throat- Is that what you want? To break up? Fine. -He pulled a book off the shelf and slammed it on the ground. URGH. he turned around, not wanting to see her face as he walked away from her-

- Horrified at herself and Cosmo's anger she takes one step forward as if to go after him but stops just to stand and watch in misery as he leaves - "Cosmo" - she makes a strangled noise and sits on the nearest chair. Good one Goblet. She shakes her head and flops her head onto the table, throwing her arms over her head. -

-He didnt want to hear her apologies, so he carried on walking, away.-

-He walked into the Library and settled down at a table. he had alot of studying to catch up on.-

"'Cuse me!"

"Move it!"

"I'm engaged goddammit!"

God, and I thought Elvis had a following. Every since the DE got booted and everyone figured out I helped fight Amy, it's like we've been celebrities. But that's only fun for a about five minutes.

"sheesh... finally get some quiet."

-He looked up, hearing a familiar voice.- Toph! Its been a while, man! -His eyes darted aroud the unusually large amount of people in the Library-

"Oh hey Cosmo, how's life? Hopefully quieter than mine."

Erm, yeah its definetly quieter... had a crap week though. -he sighed, thinking of his fight with Goblet- So, what about you?

"Oh I see... I've been trying to keep away from these damned crowds. What happened to you?"

Parents. -he scowled- They made me go away with them for a month. They threatened me and said that I wouldn't be able to carry on at Hogwarts if i didn't go with them. Goblet was mad because i didn't tell her.

"Ah, I get it. Where'd you go?" Having been to various parts of the world, I always enjoyed talk of travel.

Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France. Normally, I would've enjoyed it, but in the situation i was in, it was the worst holiday of my life. -He rested his elbow on the table- Anything I've missed here?

I start to snicker into my hand.

By your reaction I assume I've missed quite alot, haven't I?

"Ooooohhhhhhh yeah. Want the long version or the short one?"

"Here's the short version, the good guys here, myself included kicked the DE outta here!"

-He remained silent for a few moments, taking in what Topher had just said- Wait a min...the DE are GONE? and you guys did that? WOW. -He slapped Toph on the back- Man, thats great!

I smirk quietly, "Don't be thankin' me, thank Bryn and the Desouzas. They're the ones who organized it all."

Shoulda known it was them! Speaking of Bryn, I haven't seen him around. Have you?
