The Grounds

I know, but still, I felt bad...

I'm walking around the grounds, just thinking.

I am out walking, making no attempts to conceal my presence. The purpose of my being here was to spread the word I was still alive.

Lost in thought, I run into Crest, catching myself before I fall. I look up at him, a small glare forming on my face. "Crest..."

"Sarah...listen to me."

OOC ... It's Sarah, not Sam.

IC "Listen to what? How you 'betrayed' everyone, let Sam in on it, making my life a living hell until I find out that it was all a scam? What else do you need to say?!" It's obvious that I'm still angry at him.

"I had to. I had to. Do you know the circumstances behind this, and the circumstances behind my being here now?"

"Why would I want to know?! Sam's probably in danger because of you!"

"Actually," I explain, "my being here, is to ensure Sams safety."

"Then where is she?"

"She's here. I brought her here because she was miserable in our hideout." I was being calm and rational as always.

Since I don't trust him anymore... "Then bring her to me."

"Very well." I go to look for her.

OOC where is she?

Uh... How about the Black Lake? That's her favorite place here.

Okay

Sarah: I haven't moved from my spot; I've just been standing here, thinking.

Sam: I walk to the grounds with Crest.

I arrive and let them talk.

Sarah: I see Sam and sigh with relief. He was telling the truth.

Sam: I look at Sarah, then hug her.

Sarah: Not even acknowledging Crest's presence, I say, "Sam, why are you still with him?"

Sam: "Because I love him."

Sarah: I sigh, looking away. "I don't think he's right for you... All he does is lie..."

Sam: "Sarah, don't say that!"

Sarah: "Even if your here with us, I'm sure your a target for all his enemies! He's a danger!"

Sam: "Sarah, please..." My eyes are a bit teary, pleading, "I love him... Nothing can change that..."

Sarah: I look at her, then at Crest, then back to her. "Sam, I love you and trust you... But I don't trust him."

I feel guilty but completely understand her reasons.

Sam: "... But if you trust me, why don't you trust him?"

Sarah: My eyes widen. I... I don't know that...

Sam: "You don't trust me."

Sarah: "No! Sam, it's not like that..."

Sam: "If you trusted me, you'd trust my decision to be with him and trust him."

Sarah: I sigh, "Sam..."

Sam: I look down, turning back to Crest, taking his hand.

I hold onto Sam and look at Sarah, "At least one chance to explain... that's all I ask."

I g2g now, leaving the school. I probably won't be back on here until Wednesday. :'( Bye!

Jinx slipped out onto the grounds, she was dressed in full black blending in with the long shadows cast by the forest. She had a sword strapped to her back and the small folded paper in her hand.
