Amber: "Are you sure you should be training with your leg like that, dad?"

Sam: Hearing the voices of my children, I get up and set my sketchbook down, immediately going over to hug them. "Welcome home!"

Crest: "I'll live..." -I say pridefully.- "What brings you two home?"

Bruce: "Hey mom!" -I hug her.-

Sam: I hug Bruce back, smiling, "How are you doing?"

Amber: My hands clench into fists, "People were bullying Bruce again..."

Bruce: -I hold her a little tighter.- "They were teasing me again..."

Crest: "Judging by him being in good spirits you scared them off..."

Sam: I sigh, keeping my arms around him, "It's okay, sweetheart... It won't be like this forever..." I remember when I was young and around his age; I felt I would never be happy again. "Did you know people used to tease me to?"

Amber: I nod, my face serious, "It's like they'll never learn..."

Crest: "In essence they never will. Not until Bruce starts to stand up for himself."

Bruce: "You? But... why?"

Sam: "I grew up in an orphanage... Lived there for ten years. I had abilities no one else had, and constantly got bullied, every single day. The only happiness I had there was my sketchbook... But then I went to Hogwarts, where I met your father."

Amber: I sigh, "It sucks, how people have to be that way..."

OOC I wonder what Jack is like in this future...

OOC Who knows? Maybe we'll visit him soon!

Bruce: "And from what he tells me, you helped him?"

Crest: "That's how life works Amber. Accept the information and work off of it."

Sam: I nod. "He was stiff, tough, silent, and ALWAYS serious before we got together..." I smile at the memories.

Amber: I nod, "Right..." Acceptance... One of the hardest parts of this life...

Bruce: -I frown.- "I wish I was tough..."

Crest: "you and your brother share a special bond. You of all people can help him."

Sam: "You are tough, honey..." I kneel down so I'm face-to-face with Bruce, "Strength comes from the mind and the heart... But I know how you feel. I thought I was weak as well, but special people helped me realize that I was strong." I kiss his forehead, "You want to practice your telekinesis?"

Amber: I nod, "What I've been trying to do... I hope I'm succeeding, though."

Bruce: -I smile weakly at her.- "Sure..."

Crest: "Do not hope. Just do. Trying isn't the same as succeeding."

Sam: I smile at him, showing an infinite love and confidence in him. I walk out to the training ground with him, facing him. "Now, remember what you have to do to move something?"

Amber: I nod, as if Crest is a general and I'm one of his soldiers. "Right."

Crest: -A smirk grows on my face.- "That's my girl."

Bruce: "Uummm... well... you have to really focus on it..."

Sam: I nod, smiling, "Right. You have to clear your mind and focus on it." On the ground is a small rock, something that shouldn't be too hard to lift. "Now, lift that rock."

Amber: I smile, then look and see my mom out with my brother.

OOC I'm imagining Jack as a grandparent... It's really weird...

OOC I can just imagine it!

Bruce: "Grandpa... would you like to take us fishing and tell us stories of how you..."

Jack: -Smiling insanely- "Tortured the innocent and destroyed all that stood against me?"

Bruce: -Traumatized for life.-

IC

Bruce: -I focus on the rock with all my might and I barely manage to make it wobble.-

Crest: -I smile at Sam, still as kind as ever.-

OOC ROFL!!!!! xD xD xD Yep! That about settles it! xD xD xD

IC I smile, "It's okay, honey, keep trying..."

-I struggle a lot more and make it lift off the ground a bit.-

I smile, "Excellent! You can let go now, give your mind a rest..."

Jack: "Yes, you don't want to get too big a headache... Your mother got them constantly..." I grin, having appeared out of no where.

OOC I could NOT help it! xD

BRB dinner!

"Oh... Hello.. Grandpa Jack..."

-Grandpa Jack always scared me a bit.-

Sam: "Dad... Hi..." I gently put my arms around Bruce protectively... Jack can be very... Unpredictable...

Jack: I laugh, "No need to worry, I just thought I'd pop in for a visit. It has been a while, hasn't it?"

Amber: I see Jack, on my guard.

OOC Btw, Jack is Bruce's grandpa, not uncle. If he was Bruce's uncle, Jack would be Sam's brother! xD

OOC Whatever do you mean? -Whistles innocntly.-

Bruce: -I stay close to my mom.-

Crest: "Jack..." -I nod in greeting.-

Jack: I nod back to Crest, then just look at them as a whole. "So how is everyone?"

Sam: I hold Bruce close. "We've been good..."

Amber: I just eye Jack warily. I've learned by now that Grandpa Jack is insane....

Crest: "we are quite well Jack. And how have you been?"

Bruce: -My dad was so fearless. And I was just a coward.-
