The girl watched them silently, smiling softly at both Topher and Tomas, before turning to her brother.

'If i had known 3 years ago i was going to fall in love and have my family by my side, i woudn't have complained so much.'

Bryn smirked as he spoke, but his tone was calm as always. 'You didn't plan on killing John Abonacci 3 years ago, it was a good move by the way, i never thought i'd be proud to say you killed someone.'

Amaya snorted, flipping her brown ringlets. 'You should be proud of me, i'm fabulous when i want to be.' the group became quiet again, still watching the others.

I promise to look after you in the hours of darkness, to draw a smile from you in times of sadness. I promise to love you through the night and day, through thick and thin, through every arguement and every joke we share. I promise to protect you- even when you can protect yourself, and to let you fight by myside even when i am scared.'

'Damn right i can look after myself.' she smirked, raising her eyebrows slightly. Then she paused, knowing she was going to keep it simple.

'I promise that stuff you said too, but i'm not mushy enough to repeat it. I love you, that's all I need to say.' A short laugh erupted from the back, no doubt from Sydnay again.
