-I arrive back with a DE in my arms and I throw him into a cell.-

I grin, looking over at the DE, then at Crest. "Seems that you're on a roll..." I laugh.

"Hmph.." -I start walking past him.-

Jack: I just laugh insanely,

Sam: "Crest!" I go up to the bars when I see him.

-I look slightly distraught.-

I look worried, a sincere concern in my eyes, "What's wrong?"

"I don't feel like a worthy Strayer..."

I give him a very, VERY surprised look, "Why not?"

"Ever since Descole came back into my life, I've felt... More angry. More vengeful. That isn't the Strayer way."

I look at him sympathetically, "Crest... Revengeful and angry feelings are human nature... I've even felt it before." I look at him, love and sincerity showing on my face, "Just because you feel that, doesn't mean you're not a worthy Strayer..."

"And in the beginning that's how I justified it. But now I'm starting to ACT on those feelings."

I look at him with disbelief, "How?"

"I was so close to using fatal force on the DE I caught..."

"Crest, I'm sure everyone in your family has done it at least once..."

Jack: I laugh, "But didn't it feel good, Crest? Taking revenge on someone you hate? Wasn't it thrilling?"

"No... It is against our ways to kill even an enemy."

-I turn to Jack.- "I pity you... You just don't understand at all."

I laugh, "I can say the same for you... You don't understand me at all, so who are you to talk?" I grin.

-I look at him and an idea comes to mind.-

"Then tell me."

"Tell you what? Why I do what I do? Why I enjoy hearing the screams of others? Why I enjoy to see others in pain? My past? You need to be specific, Strayer..."

-I pull up a seat.- "Start with your past."

I tilt my head from side to side, "Hmm... I don't know... Ah, what the hell? I might as well do something while I'm stuck here..." I clear my throat, thinking of where to start.

"I was born in a small town... My father loved my mother dearly, but... When I was in about fourth grade he became disappointed... I showed great talents in mathematics and science; I was the smartest kid in school! But unfortunately, my father disapproved of it, wanting me to be an athlete, so he beat me for it.

"My mother worked all day, and school... Kindergarten through college were the worst years of my life!" I tense up, looking angry and hateful. "I was bullied every day for being smart and shy... Even the other scientists and mathematicians were too scared and quiet to stand up for me... No one cared... Not one bit. I would cry to myself every night, wishing I was dead!

"Eventually, my mother died, which hurt my father and made the beatings worse. A couple years later, my father died, leaving me in an orphanage, where I had my own room and everything.

"The orphanage... Is where I discovered my telekinetic abilites."

OOC G2g, my mom's kinda ticked at me from being on the computer so long... Plus, there's school tomorrow. -_- Night!

Night ray

-I nod my head, processing the information, feeling a small amount of pity for him.- "I see... and from there?'

"So then I thought: 'I have a way to fight back.' I could finally defend myself! Of course, it was extremely difficult to learn to control at first. I had to meditate for hours, and kept getting interrupted by those bullies... But eventually I got it... And I started taking revenge. Making them feel what I felt my whole life; teaching them a lesson they'll never forget..." I grin, "So I started tricking them constantly. Whenever someone was cruel to me, I was cruel to them."

"Eventually college came, and nothing changed... Until I met Sally."

-Vengeful... but loving... he was like me.-

"And I assume most changed for the better?"

I nod, "Sally was the first and only person to show me any kindness and compassion... The only one who tried to heal me." I smile a little, thinking about her, "She's an angel... Never feeling hatred towards anyone, whether they hurt her or not... In fact, if it wasn't for her, I would've killed Crouch...

"We went out on dates, and eventually got married. Every night we'd sit out on the front porch, talking and dancing and laughing... Then after a few months, we had Samantha. I still remember holding her in my arms when she was just born... So beautiful, so innocent... I never thought I'd have a child with anyone... Have a family. It was wonderful.

"I stayed at home while Sally worked as a nurse at a nearby hospital. I would play with Sam, feed her, she was so adorable... And after a few years, around when Samantha was about three, we started watching 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' every Christmas eve... That was the year we had Sarah.

"Sam and Sarah got along very well... I never had to worry about them fighting or arguing... They were perfect; Sam was, and is currently, a lot llike her mother. She was always kind to anyone, and never fought against anything..." I smile, remembering these happy memories.
