"However... all is not lost for you. You still have options."

"Like what?" My voice is a bit shaky and my heart is racing.

"If you tell me everything you know about the convicted felon you're travelling with,..." I point to the door, "You can walk out that right now, a free woman. Just a dot on the map again."

It doesn't take long for me to think about it... Whether I tell him anything or not, Crest will be imprisoned here... Or somewhere worse... "No."

"And what exactly is this man to you? Family... friend... something more?"

"Why does that matter to you?"

I smirk at her, with a small amount of maliciousness showing, "Oh... I merely want to know if the next method I have in mind will help."

This can't be good... My stomach is starting to twist and turn in fear. I look at him, my eyes widening slightly, "And what would that be...?"

'You can show him in now." I tell the aurors outside.

Aurors: They throw Crest inside, quite harshly.

Sam: My eyes widen a little more.

"Now... here's how this will work. I will ask you both questions."

"However if I feel I'm being lied to or you stay silent." I direct my look at Crest, "Then I shall use regrettable methods on the other."

"Do we have an understanding?"

I don't say anything, letting the fearful look on my face answer for me.

My face stays resolute but I give him an almost impreceivable nod.

I take a deep breath, trying to calm my anxious mind down, waiting for him to start.

"Now this first one is for Crest."

"Why did you attempt to break into the Ministry?"

Crest: "Because I wanted to destroy it."

The room around use seems to go red in hue.

Smith: "Oh did I not mention the enchantment around the room? It acts like a muggle polygraph, going red with deception and green with honesty. And I warned you the price of lying."

I point my wand at Sam, "Crucio."

I try my very hardest not to scream, but then eventually I can't help it. I scream out, twitching in pain.

"Stop! It was to steal information!"

I clench my jaw, waiting for it to stop.

"Good..." I stop the spell and turn to Sam, "Your turn."

"What entrance did you use to get inside."

I take deep breaths when it's over, looking at Crest, and then looking at Smith, my eyes starting to water. I tell him the entrance, but try to cover it up a little, so it's like a half-truth.

The room turns a strange shade of brown, "I almost believed that completely, but I want the full truth."

I send a crucio at Crest, enjoying the sight of a Strayer suffering.

"NO!! Please!!" I tell him the true entrance, tears starting to slide down my face.

"Ahhh... so the Strayers had their own entrance into here. Interesting."

I look toward Crest, suffering, but I don't stop the spell until a minute passes.

That minute feels like an eternity. Before it ends, I yell, "STOP IT!! I answered your question! Please!"

"I know. I just really.. cannot... stand... Strayers." I say leaning forward in my desk.
