She rolls her eyes with a small laugh, "Well that's always a downbuzz, but we'll work with it."

"Don't be ridiculous, it works things in our favour." Jay smiles, but it quickly fades. "Speaking of parents... what're we gonna tell yours?"

She shrugs, "Tell them it's part of the Dark Lord's plan, I dunno." Her face lights up, "I don't know where that came from but it's not a bad idea." She laughs.

"You really think they'd have the guts to question the Dark Lord's motives? Anyway, it's not like the Dark Lord goes around flaunting his plans. It was just an idea anyway." She shrugs.

"I'd be very surprised if he didn't. It'll be fine, don't worry." She pulls his head down to her shoulder, wrapping her arms around him and kisses him on the head.

He relaxes in her embrace, sighing. "He didn't like me when you only introduced me to him... I don't wanna imagine how he'll react when he finds out about Jasper."

"I'm glad." She pulls him forward and kisses him. "He scares me too, you know. But he can't do anything, we'll be alright."

She smiles then slowly drifts off to sleep in his arms, "Love you." She mumbles.

Rhi awoke and slowly pushed the covers off of herself. Today was the day she could leave. To go where? She hadn't the foggiest.

She smiles and kisses him on the forehead, pushing the sheet over him again as she makes her way to Jasper. She peers over the cot and strokes his forehead gently with the back of her index finger.
