I lok at him and rool my eyes, then start to work.

I have to go eat dinner, bye!

I was concentrating on the potion, carefully adding some ingrediants to it.

He gently drummed his fingers on his knees, waiting for the potion to fi nish brewing

Death walked up to Lethe and some kid. "Hello you two. What are you doing?"

What's it look like? They're brewing a potion.

'Im doing magic, Death.' I roll my eyes. 'What does it look like?'
I drop some powder into the cauldron and stir it, then look up at him. 'So, when were you going to tell me i was the reason your lovely River couldnt come back?'

He smiled up at Death happily and then stood up. "Hi there mister!" He curtsied.

He looked at the kid with mild interest. "Cute."

He looked back at River/Lethe. "How'd you find out?"

'I have her brother trying to get her back. hes rather...' I shrug. 'I can see why she left.'

He stared at the other two, eyes wide and mouth opened slightly.

"Crouch is just worried about her, you. He's not always like that."

Ahriman scoffed but didn't say anything.

'Didnt seem that way to me. Why didnt you say something to me, death?'

He shrugged, "You didn't ask."

Ahriman laughed, She kinda did, ese.

'How could i have asked when i didnt know? i thought i was a real person. turns out im just...a ghost in place for a girl scared of the world.'

He sat back down, " I thought friends told each other EVERYTHING!"

He looked at the boy and said shortly. "She's not my friend, she's my girlfriend." He looked back at Lethe. "Alright, truth be told, I didn't want you to freak out. I know Ahriman would've reacted if he took complete control and I was lost and someone said, 'Oh, you're just a figment of Death's imagination. You're not even real.' I knew how he'd react and I didn't want you to do the same."

He took a deep breath and let it out. "I'm sorry."

I smile at him, then take his hand lightly. 'Death. River did this of her own free will. Do you want to get her back?'

"Of course I do!" He looked at Lethe dead on. "Have you something planned?"

Oh boy, time to get the annoying girlfriend back.

Shut up Ahriman. She's not annoying. I love her.

'No.' I glance at the potion. 'I was going to run away. i dont want to dissapear...'

His face fell visibly. "Oh, okay."

Thank you Lethe. I love you.

I frown. 'Stuff it. Hell, for a reason i dont understand, you all seem to love this girl. We will get her back.'

"What about time travel?"

"She had no idea what she meant to everyone."

He looked at Ed sceptically. "Unless you can steal as Time-Turner from the Ministry that is not going to happen."

He smiled at Death. "I made a deal with Lukas...I can go back in time once."

'What does she mean to people? and why?'
